BATODA 10” Countertop Support Steel Brackets (2 PCS), Heavy Duty L Bracket

I originally looked at this 2-piece set of 14-inch steel brackets because they are built to support heavy granite overhangs, but I actually used them in a non-traditional way: to mount a microwave directly to a kitchen wall that doesn't have an upper cabinet. They have performed flawlessly. If you need absolute peace of mind for heavy lifting, these are the real deal.

I installed these under my new 12 ft long solid surface bar. They're high quality and easy to install. The counter bar seems locked tightly in place along its full length so I won't worry about weight or pressure causing any bowing or downward movement. Reasonably priced.

Very heavy duty, great quality for the price. Not a negative, but something to keep in mind. They a physically heavy and add weight to the shelf you are supporting.

The thickness and overall quality of these brackets give us peace of mind that the granite slab we're using as a countertop extension won't fall down. Cosmetically these were well wrapped but still had a couple spots where the powdercoating did not adhere properly, however being so far underneath our counter you have to get on the floor and look to see them so I decided it wasn't an issue but I could use a sharpie or touch up paint if it bothered us. I screwed these directly into wall studs and they seem very secure. I was going to use some longer screws I already had as the screws provided were slightly shorter than the quoted length, but the heads with supplied screws looked and fit better into the brackets so I went with them. However, using my cordless impact driver, I sheared one of the heads clean off tightening it. The only time I've done this in the past I was using poor quality hardware - but as they had extra screws included I just had to dig the buried screw out of the stud and drywall which sucked but the bracket was wide enough to hide any damage I had caused. So, take care using power tools LOL overall very satisfied.

The brackets are good. Screws are not, stripped out even with pre drilling. If the screws are a concern, go buy your own.

These are excellent well-made brackets, countersunk for screws from both sides. Heavy steel, good powder coat finish. As others have noted, the screws are NOT recommended, source your own. These are too soft, made of some kind of wonky cast metal. Better actually if they didn't provide screws at all. But the brackets themselves are EXCELLENT.
