Life changing device!
Why did it take me soooo long to hear about this!??Living in a large, brick home that has a FIOS modem & router on one end of it and attempting to use a range extender for streaming at the other end of it was NOT working. At. All.Then the old COAX "cable boxes" get shut down and replaced with wireless devices. Which meant attempting to relocate the modem and router (and crawling under a 30 year old house to drill holes for new wires...NO THANK YOU).My son came home from college & said MoCA was the answer. So I delved into the world of MoCA.1. The new Verizon Fios routers ARE compatable. There seemed to be alot of yes/no discussion around this.2. You only need 1 box if your router is compatible. The set up was very simple. Coax line in wall. Box. TV. My son said something about direct connecting to ethernet for gaming speeds (which he uses when home), but that means nothing to me. I now can stream movies/TV with no lag, freezing, buffering or Interruption. Yay!And I know it saved me upwards of $800 by not having to have someone come run new lines throughout my house.

Works Great!
Worked great to send LAN signal down a coax in an area I couldn't run LAN cable. Handles streaming and online gaming with no delays of glitches. Someday I will get some CAT6 in the wall but till then this unit does the trick!

They work. Good for places where cable is already run.
These things work right out of the box. No fussing around with software or setup or special nonsense. Plug each end into your cable feed in some Ethernet and you have a hard line to somewhere. Pricey but worth it!

Easy setup, fast speeds! Perfect replacement!
I have been using an old Actiontec Fios router that I was using as a MOCA bridge that was a pain to set up a decade ago. I've always felt like it could be faster and looked into it and found it couldn't keep up with my current Gig speed internet but put off changing it out in fear the new solution would be another pain and maybe not even work as I expected.I was so wrong. This was super easy to install! I unplugged the old router and attached the Trendnet adapter and it just worked straight out of the box! No IP configs, no bridging, nothing. Plug and play. And it's way smaller!I tested the speeds throughout the day today with the old router and was getting about 151 down / 130 up all day. The new router gave me instant upgrade to 779 down/ 415 up!!Cannot recommend this product enough. Hope it lasts forever!

Works very well!
I purchased the two pack as a starter to test whether moca would work for me, but I like that I can buy them individually to expand the reach of my wired network.I must admit to having had serious doubts, but these moca adapters work very well to create wired connections in rooms that do not receive wifi signals. A wifi mesh would provide access, but it would be more expensive and puts more load on the wifi bandwidth. The only downside I have found is a reduced upload speed compared to wifi, but it has not limited anything I need to do.These moca devices create a wired connection over the existing coax without rewiring the house. If you need more connections in a room, you can use a small network switch which are inexpensive, or you could use an old router as a wifi extender for that room. I use a switch which gives wired connections to all of the devices in my office, thereby using wired speeds that are much faster than wifi.Your setup will depend on your needs. However, I can recommend these adapters if you have unused coax and need a wired connection without rewiring your house or apartment.

Perfect Ethernet alternative
I've been using this for a while now and it has been great. I haven't been able to run Ethernet so hooking this up was great. It worked right away and is small enough to hide away. Great speed and connection.

Do not buy!
Unless you have two coaxial systems in your house, this useless product will not work. Customer service was friendly but could not address false advertising. They also kept insisting that I needed to follow the Quick Installation Guide which was a joke as they show internet service coming into the house through the air! This internet signal enters the house by magic. Then you capture that signal somehow and connect it to a router. Once you have achieved this feat, you are all set because now you can connect the router to the adapter and then connect a coaxial cable from the adapter to an unused coaxial port. Now don’t forget that this port is unused because you don’t need it to bring the internet cable into the house because you previously magically got that signal through the air. Using a cable splitter does NOT work. Two Trendset reps finally told me to just connect the two adapters to each other completely bypassing the entire coaxial system in my house!!I got a comcast tech to come and he could not do anything. He said that if one does not have two coaxial systems say one was used for cable and another was used for a satellite dish, then the adapters will not work. Or you pay someone to run another coaxial wire through the walls of your house to connect two rooms. I wasted many hours trying to make this useless adapter work including watching various how to videos. Needless to say I am returning this terrible product including all the various coaxial and Ethernet cables that I had to buy separately as no cables were included in the box! Who needs cables when you can get high speed internet through the air?

Easy to set up if the wiring is done correctly.
Worked right out of the box. No configuration or pairing. Simple as it could be. Be sure to use a good quality splitter that works in the MOCA frequency spectrum if you are using this with a cable splitter. Also a good idea to use a terminator cap on any taps that are not used on the splitter.

Performance as promised.
I was able to get the full 1GB network running on a dark Coax network. Unlike the wallplug I had, which promised a 2.5GB speed ... I was only able to get 450 MB speed.

Gigabit ethernet over an aerial cable, who knew?!
Got these as my son’s room didn’t have good WiFi coverage and wasn’t easy to get a CAT5 cable to. It did have an aerial cable so I thought I’d give this a try, and really glad I did. It just worked, I had to re-terminate one of the cables with a better CoAx connector so I had a good stable connection, and once I plugged it in I was getting full speed to our Vodafone fibre internet connection.Had to purchase a couple of US-UK plugs as they come with US power adapters, but no issue with that and the supplied power supplies work for US and UK voltage.

Easy to set up, high speed and reliable.
It works, it is reliable, and it has allowed me to have uninterrupted high speed internet on the top floor of a two storey house with the modem in the basement. I previously used powerline for this and while it worked in general it did have to be reset often and the speed was less than I wanted. I then tried for a while using wireless on my PC but my work demands that my connection is not interrupted, and that was the case too often. Using MoCA has been the answer to my issues. I now get very high speed and while some have reported needing to reset the adapter once in a while. I have been using mine for many months with zero issues. So far so good! I recommend this to anyone figuring out that the whole home wireless option touted by the big ISPs just isn't good enough for all purposes.

Rock solid
These units are rock solid. I have been using them for over a year without a whiff of an issue. By default they’re generally invisible on your network but you can configure them to obtain an IP address and then even access a web UI for further configuration, firmware updates, and to access statistics. You can fine tune the frequencies they use, configure hashes for security, etc.
