Steam Professional Kayak Package

So this is a really decent bit of inflatable - it’s sturdy and safe feeling, the seats are really comfy and it handles in both the direction and speed departments more than adequately! Packs easily, the dry bag is a nice touch. Been out a few times in the calm waters of the Dee and had no probs paddling upstream and upwind too! I’ve also got an itiwit 3man high pressure job and this is just as good… it’s much easier to control when you’re on your own and it’s perfectly spacious enough for two people. Really impressed by it!

So to start I have a background in hardshell sit on top kayaks. I bought this as I wanted the convenience of portability and its light weight. When inflated it is pretty hard and made of very tough reinforced pvc. It tracks well and handles rough or smooth water as well as wind and currents. It's very manoeuvrable and can be ready or packed away in under 5 mins. The only but is the footrest. I feel it is just too close to the seat and your knees are quite upright. I am 5'10 and cannot move the seat further back as there is no more adjustment on the back rest. I ended up modding extra length on the footrest straps to get it to where it is comfortable. Other than this it is fantastic.

Easy to inflate and took about 10 minutes to do so. Disappointed it didn’t come with a paddle and I feel the seat could be better but apart from that I have had great fun with this kayak and would recommend it.

Glides really well and smooth. Sides Feel low after our k2 explorer but feels solid and very stable. Seats are pretty good too. With it gliding so easily the skegs dont help much keeping it straight. 2nd time in it we did over 5 miles and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend.

From opening the bag to launching on the water in about 10 minutes. lol Very sturdy. I do think the footrest is a bit pointless. I'm quite short and it's still not useable. I've no idea how long legs could cope. lol

Took it to the beach carpark to inflate and try, after few touches pumps internal white plastic part cracked, needed to borrow the pump to try the kayak.

La bolsa vino rota por uno de sus tirantes. El kayak sólo lo he hinchado y parece de buena calidad. Espero que me cambien la mochila. Amazón se portó como acostumbra y me hicieron un reintegro por el valor aproximado de la bolsa.

Heute der erste Test in der Lahn. Kajak liegt gut in Wasser, läuft stabil geradeaus. Schnell betriebsbereit. Macht richtig Spaß. Ist auch solide verarbeitet und der DropStitch Boden stabilisiert das Boot ungemein. Kksse
