## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the dimensions of the pieces that attach to the door/wall?  I have a piece of trim to work with that is only 3/4" wide.**
A: I have about 3/4 of an inch to work with also. These did not work for me. The mounting brackets are an inch in width. I am curious if you have found another brand that has a narrower mounting bracket?

**Q: Does this come in brass or antiqued (I'm trying to find something to match what's in my motorhome)?**
A: You can always spray paint it

**Q: Do these help prevent the door from being lifted out of the track by a theif?**
A: This will not prevent the door from being lifted out of the track. Please review item S 4012.

**Q: I plan to install the inactive member to the door stop and the active member to the edge of the door. Will it work like I’ve described?**
A: There is a video clip and an instruction info on how to install. Careful for getting close to the glass if it is a sliding glass door

Brilliant piece of engineering, some one really thought it out. We live in the UK and discovered these in the US, they work really well on ordinary doors that open outwards. Being stainless steel they look good and are extremely strong. We used them on connecting house to garage door and house to conservatory doors. They are easy to fit and reasonably priced. Well done Prime-Line. Oh and they arrived speedily from the US to UK.
