Q: What would be needed to hook up a battery pack to ues this for night time lights?

All you need is a rechargeable battery that will power the night light, the solar cell and a 1N5817 Diode (available on amazon search for B00I6IDVMW) between the Solar Cell and the battery. The diode prevents the solar cell from discharging the battery when there is no sunlight. I measured 210 ma, latitude 41 degrees north, 4:15 p.m. , March 21st, 2023. I expect it would be more in the summertime.

Q: What is the diameter of the wires connected to the panel in millimeters?

Wire diameter is expressed in gauge, e.g., 18 gauge, 16 gauge, 14 gauge, etc. The higher the number the smaller the wire diameter. There are tools for measuring wire diameter.

Q: What kind of motor do I need to make the solar cell work and what battery holder?

Great question. It really depends on the power you need from the motor (more voltage = more power). You can some find battery holders here ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7Q4GXN?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1 ). although you can pick from others with different voltage outputs depending on the motor you'd like to use. If you use one of these, 3 AA or 3 AAA batteries will deliver 4.5 volts, so you can pick any motor rated at 4.5 volts. To charge them, it's all math... Each solar cell is 1.5 volts, so use 3 of them, wiring them in series (connect the + on the first cell and the - of the 3rd cell to the battery holder and wire the - of the first cell to the + on the 2nd cell and the - of the 2nd cell to the + on the 3rd).
