My cat likes to sleep on a perch but the scraggly old cat tree was taking up too much space and had to go — I replaced it with this.The color combos of the canvas bed are not ideal. I went with the purple and green, of which the green is less a bright lime green and more of a soft olive (disappointingly, as I wanted lime green).The assembly was easy — just look at the pictures. The wooden pieces are sturdy and don’t look cheap. Definitely utilize the foam pads for the part that touches the wall — I didn’t put them on at first and could hear it squeaking and scratching the wall when my cat would get on and off the perch.My house has peculiar windows so this works perfectly with the window open or closed (but I would have to remove the perch to open or close the window) but this may not work well with all windows.My cat took to it immediately and gets up there on his own. He likes the place to look outside and to take a nap in sunshine.

Easy to assemble! Very sturdy, cat loves it! Great for when you don’t want to ruin your walls with screws. The suction cup ones were too flimsy and my cat wouldn’t use them!

Nice concept but unfortunately too small to fit my windows had to return. Bright colors and seems sturdy.

My cat loves it. It is sturdy enough for a medium size cat. Easy to set up.

Every foster cat I've hosted has been obsessed with this window perch! It sits sturdily in my old casement windows and even the heavier cats have had no problem. Pretty easy to clean too.

The perch was easy to assemble and as you can tell, Boots definitely likes it. I like how it has little foam pads to cover the bottom parts to not damage the wall. My biggest complaint so far is that Boots isn't a huge cat, he's about 10-14lbs, (but he wears it well!) And when he tried to jump up into the perch, the whole thing fell down. I don't know if it's that there isn't enough space for him to get up there on the window sill or not, so I've ordered some steps to help him. But now since it fell, it sits crooked when he's in it and creaks a little.

This will hold my 15lb cat. Over time due to use, things might get loose and you just use the tool to tighten things up. No biggie. Also, the fabric shelf is washable. Big plus there. My 9lb cat also loves it. I plan to buy a second shelf once we move. They may be spoiled but they are well behaved cats, I couldn't ask for anything better.
