A man worth waiting for
I love this series. Every book is a stand alone and every character is someone you’d like to know. It’s not my reality, but it is a great fantasy. You will love this family.

FABULOUS READ ❤️
What a great read. This was a new author to me and I’ll be continuing on to the next book in the series. Two amazing families come together in a well written, well thought out series. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Nick and Aurora and Leah
This is a really good story. It has a couple of little proofreader blips, but is an engaging and well constructed tale. I had no urge to take a break, or alternate reading another book.

Just One Dare
This was a great story! Nick and Aurora had a one night stand. She was poor and he was rich. Then she finds out she has siblings and Nicks daughter. He sees her and they fall in love.

Kingston and Dares Unite in one AMAZING BOOK!!!!
This was a most anticipated book for me of the year I think, just knowing Aurora was getting her story and it was going to tie us back to the Dare family. The Dares are my most favorite family in the world of Carly Phillips. When she introduced us to the Kingston family in an earlier Dare family series and we knew it was coming full circle somehow to tie them together I couldn't wait to see the path that Carly would take us on. All of Carly's books are fantastic, I never miss one and that's not something I do with all authors. I just know that there is always something special when Carly writes and brings her characters to life on the pages. This one was no exception and exceeded my hopes for how Aurora and Nick would come together.Aurora finally has a life she loves. She has a family, a daughter she adores and is running a charity that means the world to her. She's worked hard to overcome her early struggles and to find her place in her new family and she wouldn't trade anything she has now to go back to the life she lived before her brother Linc Kingston found her. With the exception of her daughter, Aurora never looks back on her old life. She's just grateful for where she is now.Until the night of the movie premier of another brother and his film company brings her past to her merge with her present. The one man who she could never forget because she sees him every time she looks into the eyes of their child, Leah!!! She's transported back to that night six years ago when she met Nick, she had just aged out of the foster system and it was her birthday and she thought she deserved a night of no worries. Enter Nick, visiting a friend in Miami, they end up spending the evening together and agree to no last names as Aurora knows that he's out of her league. He'll go back to his world and she will find a way to move on with hers. Until she finds herself pregnant with no family and alone. Luckily Aurora finds some help thru a free clinic and gets a good job which helps leave a paper trail to which Linc finds his sister. She moves to New York with her new family not knowing that the good doctor who helped her in Miami was a cousin to the man she would forever be tied to but would never see again.Six years later at a movie premier for the Kingston family she turns and meets the eyes of the man she never forgot and sees in the eyes of the child they created together those years ago. Panicking at her past colliding with her present she makes a run for it.Nick Dare, a man who has a three date rule, comes to the latest movie premier of his brother Harrison Dare and partners in New York never expecting to see the one girl he felt a connection with that he never forgot. When he turns and looks to see Aurora again, he can't believe it. When their eyes meet and she makes a run for it, instinct takes over and he's moving before he realizes it. He chases her to the ladies room where he waits until she comes out, she's not getting away from him again.Aurora, meanwhile is in the restroom with her sister in the middle of a panic attack trying to reconcile this man has a connection to her present and her world is going to change again. The world she's worked so hard to build and finally has the family she's always wanted with a daughter she loves beyond anything in the world. She knows she can't avoid Nick and so she finally comes face to face with her daughters father. Nick, determined to not let her get away again, gets her number and enlists his brother's help in getting Aurora's home address. He shows up the next morning on her doorstep to surprise her but it's Nick who gets the surprise he never expected. A little girl opens the door and he's staring into eyes that can only mean one thing. This child is HIS! After much talking and getting Aurora to agree to letting him get to know his child Nick makes a plan. He not only wants his child but he intends to break down the walls that Aurora has built around her heart and have her as well. He intends to have a family with them!!Nick soon realizes that he has his work cut out for him. Aurora may seem to have the life she wants but she still has a fear of abandonment. After all both her parents didn't want her and when Nick learns of all the things she went thru and why she is so adamant to withhold herself from building a relationship with him he sets out to win her over. Aurora is afraid of letting Nick in her life as his job is nothing but travel, after all the man doesn't even have a home, apartment or address. He lives in his hotels and that is not the life she has worked for and dreamed of for her child. There is so much in this book that you cry, laugh and fall in love with these two and little Leah and root for them to overcome all the things that are thrown their way. I couldn't put this book down the day I started it, even when it was late and I knew I had to get up for work I had to finish it that night. The amazing chemistry and wow factor that I always find with reading a book from Carly was magnified it seems with Nick and Aurora and their Leah. That thing that brought them together six years ago was still there and stronger and burning hotter than ever before and the way Carly brings that to life is something only she can do with her characters. You won't be disappointed with this book, it's been most anticipated for the last several Kingston books knowing it was soon going to be time to get the story that Aurora and her little girl deserved. Carly didn't let up or disappoint with any aspect of this one.Pure magic and unbelievable chemistry make Nick and Aurora my most favorite couple in a truly long time and that's saying a lot considering the Dare men and Kingstons we have met in the past few years. Add a child to the mix and the cuteness knows no bounds when Nick gets to know his daughter. I wish I could give it more stars than 5 because it deserves that and more!!No one can combine the steamy love scenes and family aspect like Carly can in a book. She brought together two power families with one book. I look forward to the rest of the Dirty Dare series and getting to see how the families all come together.Positively a can't miss with Just one Dare!!!!

sweet, emotionally heartfelt
Aurora has finally found a family with the Kingstons. But though she knows she's family, she still keeps herself at a slight distance, the damage done from a childhood in foster care having left her with more distrust issues than the average person. She and the love of her life, her daughter Leah, are surrounded by love, and life is good. But there's one little thing niggling in the back of her mind - the man who fathered Leah, though unknowingly. She knows she'll never see him again and it's mostly OK. Then he walks back in her life and she's...flustered to say the least. Will she let Nick back into her life, into her heart? Will he be all in with Leah and Aurora? Or does he just want to be there for his newfound daughter?Nick has never forgotten his time with Aurora. But they didn't give each other last names when they were together, and he's never been able to find her since. Now years later when he sees her again, it's as if no time has passed and his feelings and attraction have only gotten stronger. But time has passed - he's got a daughter he didn't know existed, and he's determined to have both of them in his life. He'll just have to woo her delicately in order to scale those stronger than Fort Knox walls she's got around her heart.Another sweet, emotionally heartfelt, and sizzling Dare story and I loved it. Nick is one sweetheart of a guy, just looking for a life with his daughter and the one woman he's never forgotten. Aurora - I felt so for her because of her childhood and the scars it left on her heart, but thank God she found her family and Nick came along and gently found his way into hers and Leah's hearts.

When your past becomes your present
Author, Carly Phillips, has a gift for writing wonderful tales that entice her readers to feel their presence, in every scene. It's interesting to "watch" Aurora and Nick trying to move forward, with meshing their current lives, after six years of living in their own successful paths. Nick's endearing attributes shine in his interactions with his newly discovered delightful daughter, Leah. And, kudos to Aurora for bravely including Nick in her expanding family. Enjoy their bumps and slides, while revisiting some familiar characters, from the series!

Aurora and Nick’s story
‘Just One Dare’ is part of Carly Phillips' Kingston Family series. This is Aurora and Nicks’s story which is a second chance romance with a surprise baby element. It is beautifully written and heart warming. They first met when Aurora has just turned eighteen and aged out of foster care. She meets Nick who is from out of town meets her at the diner she works in and sparks fly immediately. They Spend the day together, grow even closer and eventually spend the night together. knowing only each other's first names. When they cross paths again, six years later, Aurora is shocked. He doesn’t plan to let her go again especially when he finds out about his daughter.I enjoyed every minute of this story and can’t wait to read more!

Finding Mr. Right too soon.
The story was captivating. I wished they would have worked things out when they were young but therein there would be no story. Cheers.

Nice second chance romance
The plot is nothing you haven't read before: one-night-stand resulting in a baby but no names exchanged, years later they meet by chance. All characters are very likable, nice families, nice cousins, aunts, and uncles. But - his is the Dare family consisting of 8 siblings, her's the Kingston family with 5 siblings, add some spouses and fiancé/es and you have many, many names to keep track of.I enjoyed reading it.
