Q: Do the pieces fit in the monster jam arena? Or is it meant to be separate?

If u put them in separately and not fully assembled

Q: What size trucks are recommended for this?

The Monster Jam trucks that my grandson has, fits this ramp...... HOWEVER..... I would never buy it again. Waste of money. It will not stay together. Constantly coming apart. I decided to glue it, to permanently keep it together, but it eventually came apart again. My son said I need to use an epoxy glue, so he took it home to glue it again and I have not received it back yet. Time will tell. It has been a real pain. On a positive note.... when it does stay together, my grandson enjoys playing with it, but gets frustrated when it comes apart again. He is not rough with toys.

Q: Does anyone else have an issue with the truck coming apart constantly? Is this normal? Is there a trick to getting it to stay together?

Not at all, I’d return and get a new one. My son is super rough with it and it stays together
