Quality material but needs screws to attach
I'm impressed with the quality of the material, and it was easy to install, instructions are included. But as I expected, the tape didn't hold more than a day so I screwed one side into the door frame and the other to the door - a couple of holes are better than broken toddler fingers. It's thick so it puts up a resistance when the door closes, so I always have to remember to pull it closed. A little annoying, but not a big deal. I'd buy it again.

It works
It works as intended and adhesive is good. Just installed so not sure how long it will last.The instruction is not that great, they should add a step to fold along the tape line, and wait for 1 side to hold before sticking the other. The first time I just stick it on like directed, and the pull between sides ripped the paint on my wall, and I couldn't get the paint off the tape. I had to use some double sided tape I had from other proofing products. Second installation works better.

Just what I needed.
I got this because my granddaughter's pack n play is right by the front door. I have a very small home so there's no other place for it. I was terrified because she would play with the door hinges. This has only been up for a day but so far I love it. My daughter installed it in less than a few minutes and we left it alone all night long before using it. It is a little rigid when opening the door but I haven't seen any issues yet. This gives me piece of mind.Update: Still going strong about two years later. No tears or rips. Worth it!!

Bi-fold Safety
Our church has a nursery with bi-fold closet doors. After my son almost got pinched in the fold, I searched for a product that might help. This was reasonably priced and said it would not work for a bi-fold door due to the flex popping the door open. This was true, but with a little ingenuity, one could use a magnet or a small latch at the top. Definitely better than a safety hazard in our nursery. So, I’m the end, this product worked for my bi-fold door...with some mods.

It works perfectly so far
I installed it a couple of weeks ago in the garage side of the door between the house and the garage, and it works perfectly. It doesn't look as bad as I expected (It is in the outside so maybe it doesn't matter as much). There has been no peeling so far, even though it gets really hot in there and even though the door opens very wide and the plastic guard is really stretched. I lost some range in the door, I installed this in a way I cannot open it 180 degrees anymore, to avoid stretching the plastic too much, but I don't really need to open this door as much so I think it was a good decision. Installing it was very easy, and the adhesive worked perfectly. I saved the second one to replace this one when needed... I'll update when that happens, which I hope takes a long time.
