In the past I've used Earex or Otex and it clears within a couple of days. But after 2 weeks of no hearing in one of my ears, tried Earex, tried Otex, no change. I was starting to get concerned if it might be more than just a build up of ear wax and maybe even permanent hearing loss.After searching and looking at reviews, I decided to try the 60ml Medi Grade Ear Wax Removal Syringe Kit. I used some white vinegar mixed with warm distilled water, a 50/50 mix. The first syringe full brought out a lot of mostly smaller bits of ear wax, so I filled it a 2nd time and less came out, but still more than I expected. I dried my ear and realised I could actually hear again!!I can only assume that the negative comments are from people that either aren't following the instructions, or maybe have a situation that needs more specialist attention.The instructions state to use ear drops for 2 weeks before using the Medi Grade syringe, to soften the ear wax. You can't just use the Medi Grade syringe and expect it to clear ear wax straight away. Tilt the head 45° downwards in the direction of the ear you are irrigating, so that the wax can be expelled properly.
