Q: Do I need to buy anything else with this product?

I've had mine for a couple months now and I love it, but so far all I've had to buy is the vinyl and whatever you want to put it on. Nothing for the heat press itself.

Q: Can the cap press only be used on the bill?

It can be used anywhere on any thing that will form fit to it and can take the heat.

Q: Can this machine work on wine glass or any glass object ?

I believe it comes with a mug & plate attachment. You can use that for mugs, cups, tumblers & plates. Never done wine glasses. Clear glass is too fragile to press, glass will shatter if too hot.
