I had high hopes for these scissors since I’ve been cutting my husband’s hair since the beginning of the pandemic. I had been using hair scissors from the dollar store which weren’t great. I thought we could use a better pair and these scissors had good reviews so I ordered. I tried them on my husband and I absolutely despised them. The screw kept coming apart and they were so dull. The dollar store scissors were a huge improvement over these but maybe I just received a faulty pair. It was difficult to keep stopping the hair cut to keep screwing the scissors back together.I am returning and I would not recommend these at all.🌟I am updating my review… I did receive a refund for this product and I'm sure this product is good if you can maintain the tension screw. I think my scissors were just very loose from the start but could be tightened as needed. I think I was used to a more generic style of scissor. I would recommend this product to a DIY hair trimmer or someone experienced with the tension screw. Hope this helps.

The scissors and comb aren't that big. That being said I also bought this for like $5 because there was a sale going on and I was going through it, so I'm not mad with the product. You could probably find better cutting scissors for a higher price, but I just wanted to cut my hair and be able to say I hadn't used children's cutting scissors. I cut like 13 inches from my hair using these scissors and my hair ended up looking really good- if I do say so myself- so it's not like they are awful scissors. The comb isn't fragile but it's not that strong so I would only use it to split your hair apart. I also have like really fat hands so the scissors were kinda small but I'm not a giant so it was doable. All in all these products did their job and for the price they are being sold at I can't complain.

Wow, what a waste of time. I had these out of the box for about 5 minutes before I realized they needed to be returned. They are as dull as a pair of kid’s scissors, and they get stuck at the junction between the two blades. I’m not even sure these can cleanly cut a piece of paper, much less hair. These are just split ends waiting to happen.

I know good hair cutting scissors because I have always had professional scissors from having beauticians in my family. They had many pairs and I always was able to get a pair if they had alot. But they don't make them well anymore. Maybe it's for safety because they are not super sharp. But they don't cut hair very well.

Saw a hair on the outside of the package. I opened it up to see if the actual scissors were used… big mistake! They were covered in what I think is oil and some other hairs. So gross!
