I was ready to pay a lot more for better known brands but thought I’d give it a go and I’m pretty happy with it, plenty of power but the 2.0amp batteries do not last long and are expensive, so I bought an unbranded higher 5.0 amp hour battery for a lot less and the combination works great... don’t worry about the unbranded batteries they are just as good quality and often made in the same factory!

I ordered a Greenworks blower for our gardener to use. I had done my homework & read the reviews then found one at an excellent price. I liked the fact it was lightweight, had great battery time, & did not require hearing protection.Imagine then how disappointed I was when the first box arrived having been previously opened. Worse was yet to come when I discovered a part was missing. Initially the suppler swore blind it was complete but eventually relented, tried to be helpful & ultimately accepted the return. In good faith I ordered replacement which arrived in a different box but with what had to be the same tool as before (there were markings on it). Also the label numbering did not match that on the tool. I returned it & decided I'd have enough of that vendor.The third one I ordered directly from Amazon. This was a slightly different model & appeared new however the tubes did not connect to the appliance. I am an older woman with arthritis so thought perhaps it was me. I took the thing out to our handyman who was also unable to assemble it. The service centre, largely closed due to Covid, offered to send replacement tubes. The Centre is not far from me; if I could taken it in perhaps it could have been sorted. I was unwilling to post the blower to the service centre as there was a timeframe on my return. Also, if something so basic is wrong what else is!Buyer beware!

I always treat rechargeable battery driven equipment with a degree of scepticism as a compromise of battery life and performance is usually evident. This blower seems to have avoided that as it is powerful and even the relatively small capacity battery supplied gives 20/25 minutes of continuous use. If you need longer bigger batteries are available.It is lightweight and easy to use and I would recommend it.

Delivered promptly, but (1) impossible to clip main tube into machine itself - must be faulty connection - I tried for over an hour, following the instructions exactly; and (2) smallest part of tube (number 3 on attached drawing) was missing from the box - obviously the fault of a careless packer. I am asking Amazon to send a replacement of the missing part so that I can avoid sending the whole thing back, and I will have to see whether somebody can solve the faulty connection problem. If not, I will have to return the whole item.I have been unable to rate the blower accurately for this reason. The one star refers to the problems described.I tried the battery and charger and they work normally. The air flow seems very powerful.I am extremely disappointed as I am a good customer of Amazon.I urgently await a solution from Amazon.ADDITIONAL COMMENT:What am I supposed to do with this order? Please advise urgently. As I explained, the item was faulty and part of the tube was missing. You offered me a rebate of £15 (15% of the purchase price) plus another £10, total £35. I was going to accept this because I got my gardener to repair the faulty connection between the basic machine and the tube, but you had sent me the labels to return the item, and then you suddenly decided to issue a full refund, which I have not yet received. What is happening? Am I to return the item or not? The whole thing is a fiasco.

This is the third blower I have in my shed, but got fed up with the weight and hassle with electric cables with the other two.This machine is a joy to use and easily held with one hand.I found the battery life very good. However living in the New Forest with large gardens and surrounded by trees, including a 40 foot Oak in the back garden I felt it prudent to purchase a second battery.Yesterday the first battery exhausted after about 45 minutes of continuous use, which I felt quite acceptable and filled two large garden refuse bags with leaves.Finally these leaves were fairly wet but the machine had no problem blowing them into a heap for bagging.
