Strong and built to last
While preparing for new exterior house paint, I took down speaker wires I had run under the eaves with thinner white plastic 'hoops' 12 years ago. The clips were so brittle that they literally fell apart. I also noticed some beefier (probably same vintage) wire clips on the side of the house installed by a Cable TV guy. They were in great shape! So I searched and found these that matched the 'pro' clips, and would support two (in my case 14 gauge) speaker wires. Installed them easily yesterday, using a 1/4" bit in my drill and they'll probably outlive me! Speakers sound just the same though...

Perfect for string lights!
I used these to hang string light in my window for Halloween and they worked great! The head head screws are easy to drive in with a drill and the clips have plenty of space for the wire. The only thing that would make them better is if the bolts came painted to match the color plastic they come with. I used nail polish on mine for a cleaner look.

The screw is quite hard for screwing into wood as the heads round off...need better screws for wood...works pretty ok into wall when using wall plugs

Great Product
Well made, and did the job. Very easy to install with the sharp screws already started and a 1/4" magnetic driver. I used them for installing a Video security camera system and just wish they came in more sizes for a more snug fit for a single cat 5e cable and another for double cat 5e cables and so on. Two thin cat 5e cables will fit the smaller one but you need to be careful not to pinch a cable. Cat 5e cables come in different diameters depending on the type, solid or stranded. so you need to figure out what works best. Also cables packaged in small bundles have a lot of curl memory and a snug fit allows a neater install.
