These things are worthy for sure. I bought two sets of different OD studs and the second turned out to be too short for my needs as the stack I am tying together is quite tall and it turns out once you remove the bottom nut you can easily use the bolt to pop off the bottom cap and then replace the original stud with any machine bolt and nut.This means that even if you buy the wrong diameter, the length is too short or even if you later scrap a project and go on to something else you can go to your local hardware/home improvement store and pick up a couple pair of nuts and bolts for less than a dollar and reconfigure the piece.Well worth the price and heavy duty, looks like it could have came with the 2/0 cable and terminal rings I picked up here.

I purchased this product to use to combine two parallel strings of batteries just prior to the main fuse. The stud was just tall enough to place the 4 connections (3x 2/0 AWG 5/16" ring terminals, and a smaller gauge lead to the battery balancer).I am very pleased with the value of this item for its price but do wish the base was reenforced where the mounting screws/bolts go. I did not have any issues with it and believe that it will be fine, but I did take care not to over tighten when mounting it.The rubber insulating cover did not come with this item, but it is a Fastronix product.

Installed an on board Minnkota Alternator charger, the cables weren't long enough and I didn't really want to splice into factory ends. These worked perfect!! Made extension cables from these to batteries with in line fuses, if we have any trouble with charger later, warranty won't be void for cutting factory cables. I bought another set for a second boat......don't forget to get the protective snap on covers for these.

The first time I used it, the nut seized to the bolt and would not come loose. While trying to get it loose, the plastic part broke and I had to cut the bolt off the wire. For the price, it should have lasted longer. The nut seized due to it being stainless steel, not from any kind of electrical welding/melting. I only used hand tools to tighten the nuts.

we used these for battery terminals on a boat so we could move the battery up towards the front and have a fixed location to attach the electric motor, they work just right for what we are using them for.

Strong and works well. If you plan to stack more than 4 loops each you may not be able to use the lock washer and any more than that you will need to use multiple "piggyback sets " or look for one with a longer stud. The stud on this one is 3/8 - 10mm in shank and the usable length is only 1/2 inch unless you leave out the lock washer and can go maybe 5/8. If it was longer It would have been a 5 star deal.

Need a distribution stud for power/ground? This does the job. Works well, no issues.Wish there were a connected 2 stud, but got everything to fit on a single... for now.
