Excellent for tile removal. Great value tool
Used this to remove about 50 sf of ceramic tile from concrete foundation. The entire process took about 3 hours total, but that included cleanup of the tile pieces , breaks and chiseling off the thinset. I used a chisel set from amazon that included an angled tile chisel to get the tiles off. The set also had a 3 inch wide chisel that i used on the thinset. For the thinset i found speed #5 to work best. Quote from a pro was $750. I spent $105 on this tool and the chisels, plus i plan to use this for mixing thinset. Very good value tool. Seems well built.

Works Great
I needed to drill a hole through my workshop's foundation to allow for an air conditioner drain. Basically I drilled a 1" hole about 10" deep. I didn't want to break the bank as I really won't be using it that much. With that said, it drilled the hole with no issues. Probably took maybe 1-2 minutes, so I'm pretty happy with it. I also like the fact it comes with additional masonry bits and chisel bits.

got the job done !
Was a little skeptical about this tool but was pleasantly surprised. Needed something to help me chip some very solid poured cement in a cinder block wall for the installation of a vent . used the chisel flat point and it cut through with little effort . Came with a nice carry case , two carbide tipped drill bits , a separate drill connector , a flat chisel point and round chisel point , grease , key . Quality appears good and its a heavy tool around 11 plus pounds. Variable strengh knob . The big box store wanted around 75 bucks for four hours of use . The tool cost me around 80 bucks , a no brainer man .

Works great but a couple things to be aware of.
Pros outweigh the cons by far. I would recommend for limited heavy duty work but not confident if it will hold up over time yet to recommend for commercial use if it will be used without mercy. Home owners and commercial that occasionally need to jackhammer a bit of concrete.Cons:- The chuck that is included so you can use regular drill bits had some problems staying tight causing bits to fall out while using the drill or immediately after you stop. Could be isolated to the chuck that came with my drill- When using the hammer setting I was unable to get the chisel out of the drill. I tried to get the drill to release it but it seemed to be seized. After getting frustrated so bad I just gave up and tossed it on the case. few days later I figured I'd take another look at it and maybe take apart the quick release to get it out. After a few minutes of trying different things I figured out that by pushing the bit into something and then pulling the quick release back the bit would release the bit. It probably needs a spring that is a mm or 2 shorter so it works how it was designed but it works how I said and I can't see it causing any damage but could pose an issue in very limited situations where you don't have a safe spot to push the bit in or in hard enough to get it to release because sometimes you need to push pretty hard.- The chuck key has no place to call home except loose in the case and to me that is a guaranteed problem. There should have been a way to either plug into a storage hole on the drill itself or something to attach it to the cord. I've misplaced it a couple times already.- The case could be designed a little better with a better way to store bits. It's not horrible as is but it's not as great as it could be.Pros:- Great value and sharp design that feels higher quality than I expected at this price point.-Seems to have adequate power and feels nice and solid in your hands. Drilling cement with the hammer drill setting is in my opinion PERFECT. The holes were very clean with little to no side to side wiggling that some other drills have that make holes bigger than you wanted causing your anchors or tapcons to not hold very well.- The drill setting had enough torque to easily mix a half bag of cement.- The (Jack)hammer setting worked very breaking up the 6" pad the water heater sits on with no problem.- When I contacted Shall about the issues they were very polite and helpful and they asked me to make a video showing the issues so they can make improvements where needed and to file for a return then they will send a replacement but after I got the chisel out I was unable to duplicate the issue. The chuck issue hasn't happened since I gave it a good cleaning and oil bath. I think there was a piece of steel wedges inside the chuck that prevented it from tightening enough from the factory.

Satisfied
had the drill about 4 months now, used it 4-5 times since then and today pulled it out to use to chip off some tile with the hammer setting and it was dead. Reached out to "shalltools.com" for support / warranty but limited info available on the website. Update: vendor reached out thru Amazon and have now provided a full replacement or refund. Have chosen the replacement option

Not a Hilti
But it works great, even with a 1 1/8 drill bit I used.

Good price, and says has copper windings!
It does come in a nice carry case, which they don't show you in the purchase photos. Looks like a good drill,we shall see how it performs! It cones with 2 chisels and 3 concrete/ rock drill bits! And a drill chuck with key and a tube of grease( which the manual says" not included, but it is!)They have a stupid grease access cap, that they use a grinder disc key to remove, and says after 50 hours you need to replace any dirty grease,at some service shop!I'll clean it myself, and maybe install a grease nipple in the grease cap so I don't have to fk with this stupid idea, wrenches are like rabbits, yur always chasing them!A few days later:Well be forewarned, when its WORKING PROPERLY, as drill,,I had a 1 inch drill bit in it,it got jammed, and rotated so fast I didnt have enough time to react and relaese the trigger,it almost broke or twisted my wrist!Lots of torque, but it has a speed dial, up on the handle besides the trigger for speed control.(This hammer drill has no reverse!)but after using it for a few times at the lowest setting( has a dial that goes from 1 to 5 or 6),it kept going faster then its lowest settings. At one point I pulled the trigger, and it just groaned, and barely turned. It has 3 setting, for drilling ,hammer drilling, and just jackhammer. And a setting dial with some other setting. It has a grease cap,but the way you remove it is with a wrench, with 2 pins on it,same as those used on grinders to remove disc...needs a better idea here!Drill a whole, then thread it,install grease nice, leave goofy wrench back home!,bring grease gun!I'd also make the trigger put on a longer handle, so you have better control.I might have to send it back if it keeps changing speeds or won't start! At one point, the 1 inch drill was jammed and it sounded like it was either skipping gears or stripping them.might be just designed that way !Don't wate your money on a Radley 1/2" hammer drill, they burn out in 10 minutes if you use a 1 inch drill bit ( home hardware )so I bot this! Says it has COPPER WINDINGS! Very important!Especially if China has resorted to building motors in electronic equipment with ALUMINUM WINDINGS,which can't stand the heat and melt when under a heavy load!In a few minutes!A few of the accessories weren't in there sockets in the case,it wont hold them in place for all their efforts to make a nice case, but not missing any, comes with nice extras. The drill I picked out ,I think was more like a regular drill, and I got this! Either I'm mistaken or they substituted it,it's the exact same drill as the green sds Hamer drill sold by or under a different brand name, vevor? The one thing I noticed is the flat chisel bit, only locks in on an angle not flat, but maybe it rotates when in use. Later I fiund out the 3rd knob is to rotate the bits!It has a thumb wheel to control speed setting from 1 to 6,but I haven't read the manuals! One thing that I find baffling is Amazon refused to deliver 2: 3/4" drill bits to my po box and sent them by Canpar,to a depot here! Yet Amazon can deliver this hammer drill( 11.6 (plus boxs) lbs)?) to my po box and it weighs more then 2 little 2 ounce drill bits!Note it weighs a bit,you might want to rig up a hanging boom to hold it in place when banging away!Hope it lasts! See above interjection. It has some good points and some flaws, speed wheel is questionable or useless!Maybe I'll send it back! Also,I tried the hammer drill option with the 1 inch bit in it,while on wood, the bit rate is not very deep,so I can't say how good it'll work on quartz!or concrete.
