I've taken Astra Isatis steadily for the past 20 years and am well-acquainted with it's remarkably effective therapeutic benefits helping the body to rebound and rejuvenate after overwork or a viral infection. There was no equal to the old formula. Sadly, since the company was sold in 2019, I suspect the formula may have been altered because I recently bought a new bottle of Astra Isatis and instead of feeling better, I began feeling much worse. I developed significant systemic symptoms (headache, nausea, weakness, light-sensitivity, balance problems, buzzing sensation, etc.) which were accompanied unexpectedly by severe pelvic pain. I contacted my acupuncturist who advised that I stop taking all supplements immediately--including Astra Isatis--noting that many supplements now have "fillers" added to them which the kidneys can't process. I immediately improved after discontinuing the new capsule formula of Astra Isatis. I have never reacted badly to a supplement prior to this occurrence--most especially not to Astra Isatis prior to 2020--and hope that Health Concerns will take note of my experience. Buyer Beware!
