Raw Elements Organic Outdoor Sunscreen Lip Balm Rescue SPF 30 -, 15 oz

I found this brand on my first trip to Hawaii after my lips were burning with other SPF lip products. This is thick and it does go on with a white tone but it protects the heck out of your lips! Stays on super well in water so for people out in the ocean all day it’s a plus. They also make one with a pink color that is also great but has a minty feel that some won’t like. 10/10

Sorry to say, but this was the worst lip balm I have ever used. I am a very thrifty person, but this was so bad I threw it away. Smell and application were terrible!

I had to buy this product twice. The first time, what I received what expired. It was crumbly and difficult to use. The second time, I ordered from a different seller (My Happy Home) and what I received was A) not expired! and B) much easier to use. It glides on nicely. I'm sure if you cake it on it might appear whiteish, but if you apply lightly and rub your lips together I don't think it's noticeable at all. I can't say I've had a chance to test its protectiveness -- I don't think my lips have ever gotten burned, as far as I know -- but it seems like a good product so far!

Overall a good product. I have fever blisters and this is the only thing that helps. However, I know it says the same formula, but I swear the amounts have changed. It feels like it has more oil in it and I have to constantly reapply when before I didn’t. This one melts off pretty quick.. Also the hemp or cod whatever it is is STRONG. Not hating but definitely doesnt seem like the same ingredients or measurements.

Yes this product will give your lips a slightly white tint, however it completely protects your lips from burning which is the most painful burn you can get. Additionally the product has a nice smell to it, and when licking your lips doesn't leave you with a terrible flavor. I use this product regularly when on the river fishing and paddling and have not had an issue with burns, chapped lips, or anyone making comments about my lip color as its better to have white lips than chapped/burned ones.

Chalky and leaves residue but appears to offer great protection.

Sometimes my lips aren't covered by my hat and get too much sun. Other lip balms almost make it worse. This is PERFECT! And I dont have to reapply every 10 minutes!!!

I bought this product because it was SPF 30 and rated highly by EWG and had decent reviews on Amazon. However, I was quite disappointed. Basically, imagine trying to apply sightly waxy chalk to your lips. It was very dry and impossible to apply smoothly, especially if you have any flakes or lines on your lips which it settles into. That means that even when I did apply it, the protection was patchy. In addition, there is an intense white cast but because of the texture, lip color applied over it looked bad as well.
