It’s a cheese plate. Comes with several screw screws and has helped me create the adapters that I need for my camera gear.

I used this to create a small utility platform that holds a rechargeable LED camera light and my phone with a MagSafe plate. Helps me light up a work area while being able to view DIY Tube videos and keep my hands free. It is a short piece, double- check what dimensions you need before ordering.

This is exactly what I was looking for! My Canon T7's temperamental connection to my laptop makes it necessary to view photos directly from the memory card. But in order to do so, I have to pull it off the tripod and unscrew the plate, which can take a minute or more if I have to use my fingernail or if my screwdriver rolls away and hides. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but trust me, it adds up. With this cheese plate, I can simply tap the tripod's quick release, pop open the camera's battery compartment, and I'm good to go. It's a brilliant item that is made of very sturdy metal and feels like it will last a long, long time. Brilliant buy!

Needed to make something custom and came in handy. Great to have in your kit.

I used this to attach to the bottom of the dash of my Jeep. I used some old holes that were threaded and had an old screw. I pulled the screw, cleaned it up and used to install the cheese bar. The number of threaded holes on the cheese bar gave me options to attach it to the dash. Also, it gave me options to attach the phone holder to the cheese bar. The included bolts worked well with the phone holder. Very happy.

This plate is tiny! I use it as a video assist to mount transmitters, batteries, whatever. Nice build quality

Works great. Needed to mount a monitor to a wooden tripod base below the camera. A few screws and ready to go.

This is a good cheese bar. I found the mounting holes to be properly milled compared to other brands. It works and is cost effective.

I used this to connect my 5.2 inch atomos shinobi monitor to my gimbal's side handle so it could stick out to the left a bit more. Great item, worth the money, not very heavy (which is exactly what I was hoping for), and everybody should get this. This thing is exactly what I was looking for.
