I would not buy this again as it is as stiff as a board. This sling provides a much needed grip on my shoulder so the rifle, at its weight, does not slide around or tilt back back due to the barrel weight. I have tested it with just a t-shirt, a mid weight jacket and while wearing a heavy coat. The sling and rifle stays in place on my shoulder as it should. This sling seems to be well made. I have tried the sling in different off-hand sling positions and a believe I would have a good steady hold from standing or sitting positions to hold on my shot.
