Easy to maneuver, much better than using crutches
Product arrived quickly, minimal assembly and seems very sturdy. I haven’t tried it outside yet.

Sturdy reliable and comfortable
I sustained a severe fracture of my left ankle and had surgery on February 25. This scooter has been a lifesaver. I have tile floors with a lot of area rugs. The larger front wheels make it easy to navigate over those rugs. The scooter is also light enough to pick up and move around in tight spaces for navigation purposes. The brakes only operate on the rear wheels and those slide on my tile floors even when locked. However, I do not find the brake hard to set, at all. The scooter came pretty much preassembled. The handlebar does have a tendency to retract overtime even though I have the clamp locked as tight as it will go. However, that is not a big issue. I simply have to raise the bars again every few days. Finally, I like the fact that it is collapsible and would be easily transported. It is so much better than crutches. I strongly recommend it to anyone with an issue with a lower leg or foot injury.

Set proper expectations
I think the difference between a low rating and a good one depends on your expectations of this product. I would have given 5 stars, but I have two issues.1. The instructions are not detailed at all! This could be a safety issue.2. This is called "all-terrain", but it does not do well on bumpy or uneven surfaces. I imagine it is much better than the ones with rigid tires though. Here's what to expect.1. Make sure everything is good and tight before using! The steering wheel must be tightened to prevent it from going down while in use. This could result in injury. I tightened the handlbar column 2 or 3 times (and pulled the lever across) before it was tight enough.2. Hitting a bump, rock, or uneven sidewalk slab will cause one wheel to stop and the handlebars to turn sharply. I found that it helped to shift my weight backwards and lift up slightly on the handlebars. A little like "popping a wheelie".3. I could not put weight on my bent injured knee, so I put my good knee on the pad and pushed off with my injured leg. This took the weight off the injured knee and prevented having to bend it as much.4. Using the scooter is fatiguing to the bent leg. Plan to use it in short periods to build up stamina before planning a long outing with it. Some suggested adding a piece of foam to the pad as well. With these expectations, I think this is a good product. I will update the review if other problems show up with continued use.

Had to modify my review...
One week ago, I received my scooter and wrote the below review, but had to come back and modify it because one of the back wheels is about to fall off. The bearing is bad. I've tried exchanging on Amazon, they tell me there's a problem with my card (there's not), contacting the seller directly...nothing. be very careful buying from this vendor. They're based in China, so it figures. One week. Its lasted one week. I expected it to last longer than one of the cheaper options. This little thing is great for what it is - a mobility product for folks whose foot can't touch the ground. Have tried it on grass - not the best, but it works fine on uneven pavement, provided you watch out for potholes. Will be trying it on the beach next week. The basket on front is a lifesaver and I'll be adding a cup holder soon.A couple things to be aware of...because of the configuration of the wheels, any sort of speed past a sedate walk can make it wobbly (found out the hard way), and the brakes aren't exactly ready for hard braking. Use caution when going downhill. Also, while the back wheels are inset, there are nuts holding them on that I've banged my ankle into multiple times. I've put hot glue on them to try to cushion them, but rubber nut caps would be much more preferable. All in all, much better than the scooters with the four little wheels and works fine for my purposes, provided I don't emulate Mario Andretti while using it.

Just what I needed
It’s sturdy and this knee scooter is a perfect substitute for crutches. Had Achilles tendon repair about 2 weeks now and I fell while using crutches luckily was near a chair. It’s easy to navigate in the house and my first time outside was a doctor’s visit no problems. Fits easily in the trunk or back seat. If you get this please buy comfort pad for extra cushion!

Smooth ride!
Received this in 2 days following foot surgery. Very easy to assemble. I was very pleased at how solid it is. The ride is very smooth and glides on the floor. The cushion is very soft and comfortable. The rubber wheels are definitely an asset for anyone who needs to ride across different surfaces.
