Read another review that said "not leather as advertised" and want to clarify that they specificy that it's Maya leather which takes a 2 second google search to figure out is a plant based artificial leather. That out of the way, they seem pretty durable so far on the bag. Originally they were a little hard to close, the top is just one piece so you have to break them in before they get super comfortable with bending with your fingers. Overall great quality and exactly what was advertised, despite what people who don't know maya leather doesn't come from cows might say.
