This lead works like Magic; I can write much faster. Its durability is significantly better, and it’s incredibly easy to use, just like any other lead. Unlike other leads, it doesn’t break easily, and the writing quality is unmatched by the competition. It offers excellent value for money.

0.3 still requires a precise and gentle touch for fine writing or drawing and it can break easily. I like ultra fine point writing instruments and have to hold the pencil straight up for best results.

Fits in the .3mm uni mechanical pencil. Does not smudge or smear when you rub your hand across it. You can write very small very neatly. Good quality. Just expect to use up the lead faster than larger sized lead.

It's a good choice for anyone who prefers neither too soft nor too hard tip. This is a new version of the popular Uni Nano Dia HB. I'd say the Smudge-Proof HB is somewhat less breakable (tougher), supposedly smudge-proof (I didn't notice, maybe because I'm right-handed) and little bit smoother. The old Uni Nano Dia HB seems to be just a touch darker and tactile feedback is a touch better. Overall, I don't think there was/is much of an urgency for Uni to replace the older version, and neither for users to replace their existing supplies of Uni Nano Dia HB (if any). Otherwise, the Uni Smudge-Proof can stand on its own value. Great.

These are really durable, easy to use and don’t break easily no matter how fast you write. It is also a good value. I wish that the color was stronger it’s pretty light. I’m an architect and I use it to red line and it works really well for that. I need to go over some things in pen after but it erases well and helps me get my thoughts out on paper.

These are just as good if not better than the brand name. They fit and work perfectly.

This lead is way stronger and darker, it is well worth the price and a 0.3 lead from Pentel is way more fragile than this brand.

Considering most craft shops near me don't carry this and how expensive lead can be these are great for the value!

I'm a heavy-handed writer, and these leads can take it. And, they are smudge-proof as advertised!

The lead is not smudge proof. But it's still good, and the packaging is nice. Fair price for the amount you get.
