I first bought these Extra Strength Chews for my mother several years ago. Her doctor wanted her to take them on a regular, as needed basis. I came upon this Amazon Basic Care product and it has since become a household staple. I get the Mixed Berry flavor. These chewable tablets are actually very good, taste wise. The flavor is a mild tangy fruity, as a berry would be. They are chewy, not chalky or gummy. The texture and flavor is very palatable. They work very quickly and effectively at relieving heartburn, pressure from gas and bloating, and sour stomach. These chews really alleviate heartburn and abdominal pain from gas pressure. My adult son took some of these Chews when visiting, and they worked for him also. So I bought a double package for his household also. I keep some in my purse so that I have them whenever I need them. My husband keeps some in his car. They are portable and don't melt and aren't sticky. I really like the lidded cap. The cap screws on and off, as well as flips open and snaps shut. It has an indention for your thumb to push up the lid. Very ergonomic. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and the value for my dollar. Highly recommend.

I was actually annoyed when I couldn’t find the Alka-Seltzer chews I normally bought and reluctantly gave these a try instead. Turns out I had nothing to be annoyed about. These are surprisingly good and work just as well for me. I actually like them enough that I don’t feel like I’m settling for the alternative anymore. Sometimes the backup ends up being just as good. Great value !! Definitely recommend. Texture is soft and chewy. Strength is just as good as the brand.
