Does this have a spring load on it? My 8 yr old bought one that had that on it and I am sending it back. I want to make sure this doesn't have it.

No it's not spring loaded. Its a good knife. It is nice and sharp right out of the box.

according to Google search it's made in China. If you look it up you'll see that its considered very well made. Unbeatable for under $20.00. Opens & closes easily & is sharp.

I found one that was my son's and made the mistake of opening it. Now I can't close it. Is there some trick to it?

There is piece of metal that snaps into place when the knife is opened. It is serrated near the end where it holds the blade. Depress this and the blade will close after pressing it towards the handle. Be careful!

Does this have a Belt or side clip on it? it says it does but i cant see it in any of the pictures, just want to be safe (:

Yes it does. It is an all metal clip securely fastened to the side. It is a tight fit on my belt which i prefer.
