Purchased 2 through Paracable not Amazon. Loved the cable at first. But after maybe a month one frayed between the cord and the plug and later completely died. 2 weeks later the second cord has started to have separation between the plug hardware...it is still working ...but who knows how long. For the price paid 2-3 months is too short. I love the material of these type of cables...but there is much cheaper price wise out there that I will purchase as to off balance if it is a material breakdown issue.

The cord was great, at first. But then after about 10 months it developed the same touchy connection that the stock Apple cord does: it will charge the phone if you wiggle the cable at the lightning jack connection, but only in juuuust the right spot. This was a cord that has been dedicated to the car USB port in the center console, so it has received much less transport and wear and tear than other cords, meaning it never gets repeatedly wound up, put in a pocket or backpack, and uncoiled, etc. LIke most cords, you really just "rent" these for less than a year, then replace. The colors are cool, though.

Purchased 2 Paracables 4 months ago. Now one of them just totally failed. I don't abuse or put any undue stress on the cords. There was no fraying or damage to the connector. The cable just stopped working. Got a replacement. I'll be interested to see how long that lasts.

Best (lightning / micro usb) cable I've usedIf you have evil cats like I do , then its a must.It's well made, sturdy and eye catching cable with its beautiful colors.The only downsides are , for an expensive cable it's poorly packed which is unacceptable, and it doesn't come with a wrap for the cable.

Really nice cable. Way better than the standard phone charger ones.
