Hot hot hot, perfect second read
Had to buy this as the next in line to the series. Loved the character development of juniper and zane. was so nice for juniper to have a spotlight in terms of her story. Definitely preferred this duo than the first two (controversial maybe). Zane’s character was super loveable. Such a nice amount of spice in this book too! 🌶️🌶️ a solid 8/10 for this book from me. Cant wait to learn more about Callum in book three, very intriguing and also how the story line will come to an end.

Got me hooked immediately!
I absolutely devoured this book, and despite its connection with the first one in the series, it maintained a distinct narrative. Juniper's character exuded absolute fierceness, and i loved witnessing her determination to seek vengeance throughout this story. Then there's Zane, the dirty talking demon who is incredibly committed to winning Juni's heart and soul. He might look tough and scary, but inside, he's a big cinnamon roll. I admired his unwavering determination to protect Juniper, even though she was well aware she could handle herself. Loved how unhinged they were together! Perfect psycho k!ll3 couple. Overall it's a great addition to the series, and i plan to grab book 3 soon.

LOVE.
Tropes: Dark romance | Paranormal | Demons & cults | SPICY | Dual POV | Bada$$ FMC | “Little Wolf” Her Soul for Revenge tells the captivating story of Juniper, a young woman who escapes a cult’s sacrifice and seeks revenge with the help of a demon named Zane, offering her soul in exchange.I enjoyed reading the second book just as much as the first one. Ever since Zane’s cameo in Her Soul to Take, I was excited for his story, and Juniper’s character is equally fascinating, especially her threatening Leon in the pervious book. Zane and Juniper’s relationship is both alluring and entertaining, and Harley’s writing style resonates with me perfectly. The spice level is spot-on and scorching is an understatement. I can’t wait to delve into the third book and explore the Losers’ series.Overall, Harley Laroux became one my favorite authors list, and I will be automatically purchasing any future releases.

Another great part in the story!
I love the strong female lead who continues to show her true emotions throughout this engaging and spicy book. The depth of companionship between the two main characters is beautifully written and I can't wait to read the next in the series!

Great sequel
This was a great sequel although I have to say I enjoyed the first in the trilogy a lot more. I found this much more enjoyable as I got further into the story. Look forward to reading the final installment.

I expected better
This review contains spoilers so read with caution. The cons1. I was surprised to read in the end that this book has had editing. There were errors in the pages, words or maybe whole lines missing in page turning, a wrong narrator (POV) title. In general, this book is ugly looking, cover aside. It's written in Times New Roman with amateur looking paragraphs and too many exclamation points. When I pay almost 20 euros on a book I expect it to look flawless. This looks like a draft. Do better.2. The excessive, unnecessary use of profanity. I'm no shy wallflower myself but I don't need 25 F bombs in every page to prove the character is a badass or using it to stress something. I can think of five different words to use to make the same point.3. Some things didn't make sense. For example, I never understood why Juniper killed left and right before she made the deal with Zane. It served zero purpose in the story and made her look insane.4. The repeating. The first spicy scene is basically a rewrite of the graveyard scene from Her Soul To Take down to the slightest detail. Zane wants, speaks, behaves a lot like Leon. It feels lazy.5. The poor dialogue and writing. I don't know what happened since the first book but the more I read this book 2, the worst the writing got. It didn't hook me like #1, I didn't picture it in my head. Instead I kept putting it down because the writing but especially the dialogues (Juniper mostly) were so silly, shallow and ...bad.The pros1. The spice! Masochist Zane is my new favourite thing to giggle about. That scene especially was very steamy. Loved it. I've said it in my review of HSTT that I admire Harley Laroux for her boldness in this area, although she tends to repeat herself.2. Zane. Although he's not written like a thousand year old demon (he behaves, thinks, talks more like a young adult), he's the interesting thing in this book. He's persistent, funny, sarcastic, vicious, sexy. Juniper is an anchor dragging this book down. She gets a moment to shine near the very end but for the most part, I found her extremely annoying and immature for a tortured soul.I'm disappointed. I spent so much money and read something I could've written in junior high school myself. Maybe because this serves a bit like a prequel to Her Soul To Take and we know where it's going, maybe the characters needed more elements so they can grip you, maybe the publishing of the book was rushed, I don't know. But I defended Harley Laroux's writing in my review of HSTT and now I have to bash it.There's only so far a couple of explicit sex scenes can take a book. I will buy the third book because Everly's story sounds interesting but I will surely not spend as much. Kindle it is.Let's hope for a better experience.

Wow 5*
Next in the series! Amazing book. Loved the chemistry between juniper and Zane. Such a good story. It was the same but also their own from the first book. You got to see the gaps from the first one. Spicy moments were fab! And the action parts were just as good. You could feel the fear and sense the moment things were getting all to really for them. Can't wait to read the last book!

My first book read in English!
Eu gostei ainda mais que o primeiro. É pesado mas no tom certo, é empolgante e romântico mesmo que não dê um jeito tradicional e eu amei a construção desse casal. Ansiosa por ler o próximo e último.

ZANE AND JUNIPER FOR LIFEEEEE
Harley Laroux, Miss Ma'am, you've done it again. How the hell am I supposed to explain how good you are at writing??? Like, I'm not the writer, I can't even begin to put into words how much I love this freaking book.Let's lay out why this book is incredible:1. Writing Style- Exceptional flow- Narrative voices vary enough to make it believable that the reader is reading the accounts of two separate characters- Fabulous use of adjectives and descriptive phrases to provide imagery for the reader2. Plot and Plot Execution- Plot is complex, layered, and interesting enough to keep the reader engaged- Plot lines are well thought out and not rushed- Pacing matches what a book of this length and story should have- Plot execution is flawless, little to no filler passages or unnecessary chapters, no rushed endings3. Characters- Zane and Juniper are dynamic characters with complex backgrounds and are superbly matched- The chemistry between the characters is immaculate- Phenomenal character arcs and details enhance the story- Narrative style furthers readers' understanding of the characters- Juniper and Zane are not stereotypical by any means4. Smut and Spice- Fantastic spice that pushes the plot forward instead of detracting from the story- Extremely well-written- FINALLY A BOOK WHERE THEY'RE BOTH SWITCHES!!!!!!!!!- Amazing use of kinks- Intersection of violence, emotions, sex, and love is very well executed5. Setting- The imagery provided by the great writing provides an incredible view into the setting of the story- I love AbelaumAll in all, excellent book. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. HARLEY LAROUX, PLEASE PUBLISH IT SOON.

A brilliant, steamy, creepy read!
First of all, let me say that I love this book. It's steamy, its dark, and its deliciously dirty. It's an even darker book than the book that precedes it, and it's got more fun otherworldly horror. The language and writing is even better than Her Soul to Take, and the characters are more complex and well-rounded. They feel like real people, with real issues, trying to work their way through the world and just find a way to make up their missing pieces. It's got a dual POV, and the main character isn't always likeable, but I feel like I *always* understand her, even if I don't agree with her. From a plot perspective there's a LOT more plot in this book moving the story than there was in Her Soul to Take. You have to absorb a lot. It's not a bad thing, as far as I'm concerned, but if you read smut just for the smut -- this book is more complex than that and it's going to be an adjustment. It is stand alone, but I HIGHLY suggest reading the first book in the series before you read this one.Let's talk about the smut. That's why you're here. The sex is steamy, at times emotional, and it's *dirty*. Be sure to read the trigger warnings. They're there for a reason. These characters are wonderfully depraved, and one of them is a demon -- so you are going to get exactly what all of that alludes to. Without getting too detailed for Amazon, the level of heat in this book is LAVA! Truly. The creepypasta in this book is a growth from the second, but I truly love all things Eldritch horror and Lovecraftian and so I found those flavors really well utilized in this book and really completed the setting. The God is really a cool ultimate evil in the story, combined with the nastiness of Kent and his followers make for a catalyst that really drive the plot. I also love the seamless tie-in with the first book, getting to see some things that we only heard about in the previous book. This book is amazing. It's dark. It's steamy. It's SO WELL WRITTEN. Harley is an awesome author and you can really see the growth with this book from her last, and I know that when the final book in the trilogy comes out it's gonna be mind blowing!

Loved it
Juniper is who I wish more fmc were like in this type of dark romances. Her violence pairs really well with her demon. What a queen, she is strong and fierce, a fighter. Yet she shows vulnerability, doesn't hide her pain and fear. Zane was the perfect fit, funny and flirty but also intense and dominant. Their revenge was really satisfying to see, we knew what was going to happen since the first book but seeing the action play out from her side was oddly gratifying. However I wonder how It will feel when we read the last book, as the first two had had the same "plot" with many repeating scenes. Anyway, I loved it, even more than Leon and Rae's.
