Good buy, but use common sense
So this is a nice piece, functional, sleek and it seems to be built for the task. I read reviews of people displeased with the hanging mechanism included, but I'm glad I bought it anyway. It comes with instructions for stud placement, but I don't know if I'd use the anchors they include even if I did put this in studs. I went to the hardware store and bought the same Toggler brand heavy duty drywall anchors that came with the Amazon basics no stud wall mount TV kit. They support up. To 265 pounds in 1/2 drywall and this has a place for 4 of them. I had to also buy large 1/4 washers to accommodate the wholes on the back of the unit otherwise the screws would have just went into the wall instead of catching the unit. All in all, super satisfied and it's not going anywhere. Shelves are not that deep, so keep that in mind for your consoles. Cable box hangs a bit over the edge, Playstation has to be turned sideways, but it does the job.

Sturdy, fairly easy installation
Very sturdy. Not hard to put together except diagrams seemed unclear which way back panel attached. Do it with wall anchor holes at the top of the shelf (as you would expect). Wall L-braces are unusual, but seem to work nicely to add strength. I definately screwed into 2 studs. (Use good stud finder) I can't imagine anchors in sheetrock being strong enough. I didn't have drill bits so I used a smaller screw to drill pilot holes first... worked great. I'm an older 'girly' female and got it done. 😁 Now I have to get creative to hide the unsightly cords and powerstrip!

made to be mounted on two wall studs
assembly was super easy and it looks great on the wall. its made from particle board but the overall sturdiness is great. it is made to be huge on two studs, however my tv mount is a single mount so I had to take add a few holes to get it to mount on the one stud ass well. looks great, holds up great.

Very Nice
I was looking for a floating entertainment center that was less than 50” amd that REALLY narrowed down my options.Amazon is super weak when it comes to choices on this type of furniture, I didnt need fancy lighting because I can add that cheaper later on for like a fraction of the price.I also wanted something that wasnt super thin short and also not something humongous, so again that really narrowed down the results despite Amazon throwing EVERY option in my face regardless of my filter. I needed front facing cabinets as well and this ended up being the ONLY option. One thing I didnt factor in was the depth, my 2 adjacent bookshelves are pretty deep and after assembling this thing, which was incredibly easy by the way, it ended up being 4.5” shy of the intended depth so Amazon had zero perfect options for me, but I’m going to make it work after building a 4.5” deep frame to mount it to. My fault not there’s, but hoping my desperation for anything close can help somebody else plan better.Ikea is too far, Target’s was out of stock and not great either, and the furniture warehouse wanted twice the price. So it’ll do for what I could get. If I get the right tools, I’ll make my own furniture from then on.
