EPIC / EXTREMELY WELL MADE LOCK - PERFECT FOR STORAGE UNITS
With this lock, you worry less. Why? It's by far the most sturdy thing to outfit your storage unit with.I was looking for the best thing to put on my storage unit and didn't find much on Amazon specifically naming this specific use case, but I pulled the trigger on the ABUS 37/55 anyway to see how it would fit = LIKE A GLOVE. It fits perfectly. This lock was made for this. I'm super happy with the sturdiness and weight behind this lock protecting my stored items. 10/10 would buy again / more when needed.

Very strong
Great lock. You can order multiple locks that use your unique key and very secure. My husband has one too and I love that its less easy to pick than a regular lock.

Pretty much the only way to pick it is with ...
This is a decent lock. It has ball bearings. It has weather resistant coating (I think). The disk-detainer and high quality makes it very hard to open without a key. Can't be bumped. Pretty much the only way to pick it is with a special tool and some well above average skills. So, high confidence here. If you really want a better lock you might consider going to a Abloy... but that's a big price jump. I'm guessing this will thwart most lock attacks and probably won't the weakest link in whatever it's attached to.

Great Security Lock that fits Penske and U-Haul Rental Trucks
I needed a secure lock that wasn't easy to pick for a 5-day relocation move across the country. This lock worked great! It uses a unique rounded key that most lock picking kits can't hack; at least not very easily within a time that makes it worth it. I wanted a theft deterrent and this did the job. All of my stuff arrived safely without any lock issues. I had great peace of mind with this thing.

Beware! This lock sticks!!!!!
Yes, this is a nice sturdy lock, which is the reason I was willing to pay over $100 for a lock for a cross-country trip I was taking. Day 2 and the lock began to stick, it would not open at all. It was cold out so we tried warming the lock up a bit. After fifteen minutes we got it open. We thought it was just a fluke. The next day while trying to load the moving van the same thing happened but this time it did not open. Be prepared.
