Super Clean Sculpting Gel is designed for wet looks, Extra Body Sculpting Gel can be dried natural or blow dried to add volume to fine thin hair.

Is this the same as the paul mitchell - thicken up extra body?

I don't think this is the thicken up formula. I have naturally curly hair that tends to be frizzy so this product helps control my curls and prevent frizz. My hair has always been on the thick side until I became ill and now I seem to lose more hair than I used to. This product does make my hair look thick and full. I guess that could depend on your hair type. Good luck!
