CHERRY CAT Women Cover Ups Swimsuit Casual Loose Beach Dress

I actually got it for anytime wear. I live in Florida so I buy clothes to are breathable and stylish. This Cover up/ dress is just that. I actually bought two in different colors. It's great and fits great. Best it's doesn't wrinkle up after washing it don't dry my clothes in dryer I hang my clothes to dry. It's very light and airy so dries fast.

I recently had surgery and needed dresses to accommodate my facilities needs and still wanted to look cute. This dress is comfortable and flattering! I try to stay away from the polyester fabric, but with my style I didn't have a whole lot of choices. So, I didn't have high expectations and was pleasantly surprised. If a dress doesn't have the tie for a bow tie I'm not interested. Moo-moo's are not flattering and this dress has a tie under the breast and when tied the stomach area is flat. Also, it Runs true to size. Hope this helps.

This review is for the "aquamarine" coverup with the cow skull on the back.It's cute! The fabric is pretty flowy, much softer than other similar stuff I've ordered on Amazon, and doesn't smell toxic. I'm a size 12ish-14ish, 5'8" with an hourglass figure, and it somehow still fits me about the same as the skinny little model in the photos. I couldn't close it across my boobs or my hips, but then again it's not meant to be worn that way anyways. The colors are true to the photos, too.My only complaint is that the edges are just serged and cut off, rather than being hemmed nicely. It doesn't seem to be fraying anywhere, but it still looks kinda cheap. It's fine for the beach, but I was hoping to use this thing as actual clothing, so I'm gonna be on the lookout for some fringe trim or something that I can stitch along the edges to give it a nicer look. I'll probably end up paying as much or more for the trim as for the top itself! 😣I think I'd prefer it if the side seam was split up to the waist, or a bit below. But that's a matter of personal preference, I suppose! I don't think I'll go as far as to make that modification.

I would have given this 5 stars which is what I planned on after taking it out of the shipping package and trying it on. I loved it!!!! That is until I wore it for 7 days at the beach. Mind u, I only wore it for the 10 minutes it would take to get down to the beach and back up to the room and set up or take down of chairs, umbrellas and kid toys. I absolutely love the material but this material is the reason for the problem. It’s soft, feels great against the skin, easy to put on over wet bathing suit and it’s very flattering. On the front and back is a ‘v’ cutout which is fine for the front. It fits beautifully over my ‘c’ cup girls and can be tightened enough with the empire waist string to fit beautifully over any cup size. All sounds great right? Well, amazing material and flattery only gets you so far. Functionally it fails because of the ‘v’ cutout on both front and back, the minute you bend to pick something up like sea shells or move your shoulders in any way, one of the shoulders will slide down ur arm after you stand back up which you would think would be okay (remniscent of the off the shoulder t-shirts in the 80’s). However as you walk the other shoulder slowing starts sliding down. If you are walking the beach and it’s windy, it starts blowing off the shoulders. It’s aggravating!! Instead of sending it back, I’m going to sew in a 1 inch strip to the back about 3 inches below the neck so both sides are better connected. I know this will fix this problem.

In 2017 I bought both the black with the big orange flower and the turquoise one. I have used them on all my Caribbean vacations over these years and recently looked to see if there were new patterns. Unfortunately not. But I decided to write a review because after many washes (I don't dry them but let them hang) they are in excellent shape and so perfect for traveling - do not wrinkle like my other ones. So comfortable too. I'm 5'9 180ish and the other thing is that they don't make you look frumpy but are long enough for my height. On my last trip, someone stopped me to compliment me on it. I and can' t rave more about how please I am with this purchase. Don't hesitate to purchase and Cherry Cat - make some new designs. Thanks

Ok,lesson learned....one size definitely does not fit all. But that is the only bad thing I can say about this item. Its really strikingly gorgeous and oh how I wish it fit. It's well made and the colors are incredibly vibrant. I am going to keep this in the hopes that next summer I'll be considerably slimmer and I'll have this. We are leaving for Mexico in a couple of weeks so I needed something rather last minute. I am rather apple shaped, was looking for a size 22 that would have given me some room. Unfortunately its way too snug to cover my larger belly and I would look foolish wearing it. But again, its so gorgeous I am going to keep this in the big hopes that I'll be able to fit into this next year. (I'm a cub fan, we are more than familiar with waiting till "next year"!!!!)

This was a beautiful cover up in person, and I loved the fabric. Unfortunately it was too big for me to keep because the way it hung made me look six months pregnant. I wear a Size 12 and am a 36DDD with an hourglass shape, so it fit great up top but on the bottom it did me no favors. It does have a very deep V in the front and back, so just be aware of that should you decide you want to wear it out like a dress (which you totally could, it really is that pretty). I am really sad I couldn't keep it but I just didn't like the way it looked on me.

This cover up is very cute but did not fit me right. The waist was too high for my body type. I do have broad shoulders but usually wear medium or size 10. When I pulled it down in the back it was too high in the front and vice versa. The material was very light and comfortable. The length was perfect, just above the knee and the rest of the fit was very nice. Wish I could have figured out how to make the top work on me. Returned.

Great color, fit great, will order again

It is light material and will pack well for holidays.

Bought this for my wife. She loves it! Fit perfectly but was disappointed there was only one colour available as Prime.

This is a very pretty cover up. I am still undecided if I will keep it. I am 5’2” and for me, it’s a bit too long. It hits about 3 inches below my knee and because of the pattern, it will look weird if it’s hemmed. It fits quite loose on me but the drawstring helps to pull it together. It would be perfect for someone with a greater than 30” inseam!
