Sample Exam Questions- ISTQB Foundation Level-Agile Tester Extension Exam 1st Edition

One of my friends suggested me this book as it is written by ISTQB certified trainer and it helped me to get that extra 10% which I needed to show my expertise to my team. The question and there explanations are clear and concise. The standard of questions is same as real exams. The questions in this book should be revised 2-3 times to get the maximum advantage, also check why the other options are wrong.If there is similar book for the syllabus I would have scored 100%. I bought the kindle edition paperback is costly.

Going through ISTQB syllabus and this book is sufficient to clear the exam. I have thoroughly read this book and syllabus three time before my exam and able to get 29 right answer in my first exam attempt. I don’t have any experience in Agile testing.Definitions of Agile keywords and terms will be beneficial for readers who don’t have experience in Agile testing

Nothing special there, this book only summarize example exams which could be found elsewhere or provided during training courses. But if you don't have time to search for free materials or attend training courses, it's useful add-on to ISTQB sylabus.

I answered all the 3 exams in the book, and all my scores were above 30 points in less than 50 minutes, so I was pretty sure I could approve it easily. In the real exam, there is a lot of long questions with analysis, and other complicated questions, and even the format for several of them was difficult for me, questions like "no true", "not false", "likely not true", "less true"... So, I strongly recommend do not trust in the results that you got with this book!

I have bought this book for the last minute preparation for my exam and it really helped me to clear the exam!!Used this book for my exam preparation and got good results. It was quite helpful to get a feel of real questions before the exam. Most of the exam questions were on similar pattern.The only problem with the book is that the questions are according to the sequence of syllabus which makes it looks easy as the exam questions are random in nature. To overcome this I have attempted all these sample papers randomly (doing question 10 then 20, 40,1,5..) Overall a good book.

Cleared my exam on my second attempt using this book. ISTQB Syllabus from the website is very high level and by just reading that it not possible to clear the exam. Good things about the book: · Explanation of each options especially why the other options are wrong.· Quality of the questions are good (same as exam questions)Things to be improved :· Index in end with will be helpful.· If the book can relate the syllabus to sample Agile project then it will be easy to understand keywords especially for people who are new to Agile.

I chanced upon this book while preparing for ISTQB Agile extension and bought the kindle edition. And I am glad that I did. Unlike the ISTQB Foundation level exam, for this certification, not too many dumps are available. This book has three set of question papers covering all the aspects of the syllabus. At the end of each paper, there is an answer sheet given.But the most helpful and impressive part is the next section where the author has given justification for choosing each answer. Any one attempting this exam should pay a lot of attention to this section. Also this is the very section which will actually help you a lot in the real exam- out of the 4 options given in the exam, there will be at least 2 which are pretty close and confusing.Going by the line of guidance given in this book, you can easily eliminate incorrect options.Overall, this book was really helpful for me during my agile extension examination and would highly recommend this !!

I generally don't write reviews, but I thought other potential readers or Agile testers looking to take the exam may be interested in my experience of this book.It contains only 3 sample papers with a table of answers and a separate rationale for the correct/incorrect answer.There are a number of grammatical and quality issues with this book.For instancenormally the answers are listed as optionsA, B, C, D, EHowever one questions uses ABCD in the Question but lists 1234 in the answers.one question is obtaining the correct sequencefor example 12345the answers have variations on possible sequences however the book states 12343(cannot use 3 twice) it is a typo and should actually be a 5 and not a 3.Many of the tables where two answers are expected only list one of the two.You need to check the rationale section to obtain both answers.I would suggest that if you choose to obtain this book then it is only to support any official sample papers and external course.This book alone will not get you through the exam.It does get you in the exam question mindset so is very useful for this.Personally I think the cost of the book is a little high when you look at the level of issues contained within, and that this is only 3 sample type papersAs I passed and this helped I gave this a 3, as it is just Ok.
