The top description says stainless steel. The bottom description says 440c. Which is it? Hopefully manufacturer can answer

440C stainless steel is a member of the 400 series of stainless steels. It has the highest carbon content among them. The standout properties of this type of steel are its hardness, mechanical strength and fatigue resistance. This combination of properties makes it useful in the production of cutting tools. Due to its high carbon content, it does not have outstanding corrosion resistance, however it is one of the best stainless steel for knives.

Since this knife has a spring release, is there any safety lock to prevent the blade from accidentally deploying in your pocket?

Love the knife, but it actually springs open VERY easily. I've almost cut myself a few times because it just opens at the slightest tap.

What size are the screws for the pocket clip?

Screw: T6 drive style. Head: M2.5x5x3.8 (Diameter of the thread x Length of the thread x Head diameter). You may also take 3.5 diameter of the head.

While wearing knife on waist and sitting down it automatically sprung open and almost stabbed me in my leg when I was getting up, why?.

Did you have the lock engaged? Most of those knives have a lock to prevent that. People tend to not use the lock because it takes an extra 1/10 sec to unlock it. Or they are in a hurry and forget it was locked
