Make sure phone is unlocked before installing
I planned on installing in motorola Stylus 2021 phone. I bought phone unlocked directly from Motorola but carrier locked it when I activated it with them. I bought new Pixel 7 and planned to use old phone. Installed sim card in London and it wouldn't work because carrier had locked my phone into their network. Luckily I had my Pixel with me and it was dual sim ability. Tech support was phenomenal in helping me resolve this issue so I will buy from them again for overseas trips. Highly recommend this sim card with data because I was surprised how often I needed to use the map function and no free wi-fi was available.

This is a scam
I received my sim card and activated it when I arrived in London. It worked great for 1 hour then ran out of data. The THREE app said I used 130 MB of data and the card was empty. It definitely did not have the advertised 25GB of preloaded data. This ruined the first day of my London vacation. I went to a THREE store and they verified that the SIM card had no data. I ended up buying a 25GB preloaded card there for 15 Pounds.

Has worked well in Germany, France, and Peru
I've purchased this SIM most recently for a three week trip to Peru in March/April (and in 2019 for a trip to Germany and France.) I've found them to be an excellent, economical solution. This past trip it's worked seamlessly with the networks in Lima, Cusco, and in smaller towns such as Chincha and Ollantaytambo.It's not perfect but the good far outweighs any issues. I purchased from TravSIM because unlike another retailer, it's my understanding that if needed I can purchase additional data via their website using a US credit card (by contrast the UK Three site only allows payment in British pounds.) The minor downside to purchasing through TravSIM is that activation took a few hours, about four hours, as I recall (I think they advise it may take up to 24 hours). Also, when activating on their website (which I did in the US), you need to state both the start and end date yourself. They appear to be on German time so if, for example, you specify activating 11 p.m. the same day, the site advises that you can't activate for a date that has already passed.Once activated, I tried the SIM in the US and downloaded the UK Three Pay as You Go app (I'm using an Android 11 phone.) It takes a few minutes to find the signal. There have been comments here stating you won't receive the full data if it's not being used in the UK. This was not my experience. The app showed the whole 25 GB as available. (However, when my wife tried using the app on her phone, it never showed the available data. But she had no trouble using the data.) Initially, I'd emailed TravSIM about how much data I'd actually receive, and they never comprehended my concern and eventually stopped responding.Having a functional phone is a necessity for me, as there are matters I need to stay on top of back home in the US. I believe the included minutes are not available for use outside the UK, but with the included data, I used Google Voice to make/receive free calls/texts from the US, Skype prepaid to make local calls in Peru and WhatsApp for additional communication (LATAM Airlines uses it for communication, for example.)Overall, this SIM has repeatedly served my needs very well.

Worst thing to buy!
It worked perfectly for one day and then there was completely no service after that…almost spoiled my trip but thank God I had aback up plan.

SIM & Data Pack Activation Issues
I purchased a Three 25 GB pre-loaded pack recently w/ 1-month unlimited calls & texts for an upcoming trip to the UK from the USA. Yesterday I installed the SIM card in my unlocked phone in order to activate it and soon received a text message from Three with an assigned UK mobile number. Despite this I could not make phone calls to any UK numbers, verify my account balance, or install the Three mobile app, though I could receive incoming calls. Whenever attempting to make an outgoing call to a UK number (which this data pack allows for while in the USA) an automated message from Three stated that I had an insufficient balance and that I needed to top-up in order to make calls. Three's system also did not recognize the phone number that was assigned when I attempted to set-up the mobile app or register/check my account balance online. Dialing Three's 333 or 444 information/help numbers from the phone and following the available prompts also provided no resolution or an ability to verify balance.This morning I called the customer support number from my home phone for the online retailer who sold the SIM on Amazon, UKSIMS, and they were both extremely helpful and patient in getting things resolved. They added, at their own expense, a 15 pound top-up, which then fully activated the capabilities of the installed SIM card, assigned mobile number, and 25 GB pre-loaded pack. This additional top-up shouldn't have been necessary however for full activation of the pre-loaded SIM card. UKSIMS explained that this has been an issue with some of the Three SIM pre-loaded packs that they have sold recently and stems from current problems with Three's automated systems for account activation & balance verification. They too have been frustrated with this since, as an authorized reseller of Three SIM cards and data packs, they are reliant upon Three providing them with products that can be activated as intended by the end customer without issues.Everything seems to be fine now (including available balances and 1-month service end date), we'll see how things work once I arrive in the UK. If you do purchase this 25 GB data pack, my recommendation would be to install and activate the SIM a few days ahead of traveling, and if similar activation problems are experienced, to call the UKSIMS customer service number for further assistance.

Easy to set up. No issues. Would recommend.
I have a Google Pixel and everything when according to plan.Travelled from US to UK, I pre-bought this SIM card, my husband didn’t. I was able to easily take out my US SIM card and add the EU/UK one. Within 30 seconds my phone came alive with the welcome screen and my new temporary phone number came up. For the rest of my time in the UK it worked perfectly. Always had a signal, I used it to get taxis, call restaurants and family members. It was fine running apps; I used Waze several times to find locations and get us back to our hotel! For the first week my husband stayed on US Verizon ($10 a day!), then copied me and bought a SIM card :-)

No te dan completos los GB
Compré la SIM de 25GB de los cuáles solo te deja usar 12GB por MES!!! Evidentemente si estas en Europa necesitas ver videos de los tours, descargar datos, bajad apps, en tiempo corto, en una semana ya se me habían terminado los 12GB y no me dejó usar los restantes hasta el siguiente mes, NO FUNCIONA PARA EUROTRIPS. Al menos no la de 25 GB

Super recomendable
Utilice la sim en un viaje de 3 semanas y nunca tuve problemas en ningún país de señal. Visite Amsterdam, Londres, Bruselas, Praga y Viena y siempre estuve conectado. Compartí el Internet y aun así no me termine los gigas. Lo active por la pagina de Internet un día antes de salir de México y al llegar a Europa tuve señal. Lo recomiendo totalmente
