Back From BaliWomens Sheer Shrug Cardigan Lightweight Knit

I bought this shrug 5 or 6 years ago in Thailand. Wished I had purchased more and in additional colors. I have looked far and wide for this in the U.S., and finally found it on Amazon, sold by Back from Bali! I was thrilled and proceeded to buy multiple colors, plus a couple of extra as presents for friends!First and foremost - it truly is "one size fits all." It expands/fits to your body size due to the fact that it is a loose knit. I would say it fits up to a size 14, maybe even a 16, just fine, as well as a size 4-6 on the small side.This is the BEST piece of clothing I own. It fits wonderfully, can be washed in the washing machine (place inside a laundry "net"), can be bunched up and won't wrinkle, and provides a light layer of warmth for those occasions when you just need "a little something." And it's sooo lightweight that you can take it with you anywhere without lugging around a heavy sweater. It even fits in my small evening purses.What I truly love about the shrug is that it doesn't alter or hide whatever you are wearing. Sweaters tend to completely hide your cute outfit that you painstakingly thought out. The shrug just enhances it! I use it for work events when I need to wear a black cocktail dress. I also use it a lot during summer evenings with my sundresses and/or sleeveless blouses.Seriously - I'm not joking when I tell you that this is my favorite piece of clothing! You will love it if you buy it!

I ordered white and coral. After reading the reviews, I was a bit worried about the fit. I wear an XL or, depending on the cut, either a 14 or 16 shirt and am a 38D bra size. These absolutely are sufficiently large enough and I don't have any problem tying if I want to. They are not tight anywhere on me, including the arms. They are very delicate as it is a very open weave, so I do anticipate special care, however, I don't mind this because they are exactly what I wanted to wear over sleeveless summer dresses. I will be ordering more colors.

This item came super fast. Upon opening the package you see this tiny little bunch of fabric,but slip it on and voila! Perfect fit and coverage! I have large arms and chest (42DD) so I'm always concerned about how the arms will fit and if the middle tie will stay below my chest or ride up. This material is super stretchy, and the arms fit great,and the shrug tie stayed where I wanted it. My only negative is that the seams of arm holes aren't so flexible and although not tight on me would have liked just a smidgen more give. I normally wear a xxl-1x and this fit perfect. Would order again, will fit in carryon without wrinkles and go with everything for my tropical vacation without giving me heatstroke!

This is a very nice lightweight shrug. Doesn't weigh more than a feather. The color matched the photo and it is a very feminine addition to your outfit. I will order more of these. I was online for quite a while before deciding to check out Amazon- and there it was! Should have looked there first and saved a lot of time.

I love these little shrugs. This is my 3rd one. I now have cream, teal, and black and will order more. I live in FL so I love to wear spaghetti strap and tank dresses and these little shrugs are perfect to cover up when you need a little something extra. Makes a casual summer dress a little fancier when need be. I normally wear size 16 and I have large arms. This shrug fits fine, it’s not tight around my arms and keeps its shape nicely.

Pretty color. Nice woven fabric that could snag but if one were careful to keep watch clasps and bracelet hinges away, should hold up with gentle care. I am sadly returning this however, because in my opinion the one the model is wearing doesn’t represent what I received. Either I am way way larger, or her’s is cut completely differently. In the picture the garment appears to hang down to the hip and allow for gathering and tying in a flattering way. The one I received is so small it doesn’t stretch past my elbows and it extends to just below my rib cage. Ridiculous. I am only 5’6”- so it’s not as if I have the reference point of an unusually long limbed or tall person. I am size 10, so I admit it wouldn’t look exactly as it is represented, but I ordered this after reading reviews that described a high degree of stretch and ladies who mentioned it provided coverage of upper arms / elbows. If this is what you’re hoping for, order with caution unless you’re petite. In my view there’s no way the same amount of fabric was used in the construction of the garment I received. It’s just tiny (even with stretching). For the price point it was almost laughable but if it would have fit as I’d hoped I was willing to pay. Sadly, because it’s a really pretty yellow and a nice open weave, I still have to return this. My 13 year old cousin could wear it but she wouldn't need to disguise her elbows or upper arms so why would she bother?

I fell in love with this and now I hate it...I am a size 14/16 and I stand about 6 feet tall. I loved it when I got it because it was a shrug that finally laid where it should, my lower back. So many shrugs hit me above the bra line and makes me look so much bigger in my rib area which I do not need at all. I am already at a 40 when it comes to my bra size. This slimmed me down instead of turning me into a football player and I was ecstatic that it covered my skin disease while still allowing some air flow..I was crying I was so happy after trying this on. I could finally wear sleeveless sundresses and tops after 30 years! Well, after the 3rd wear it doesn't stay tight but for the first 10 minutes. The weave gets very loose, hangs and makes me look frumpy, I am no longer comfortable and confident in it and somehow there is a huge run under my right arm, from what I have no Idea but it looks really bad and I can't wear it anymore or I pay the same amount to get it fixed. I bought a white one and a blue one but am afraid to wear it until I need it for that special day/night out. I really want my money back from all 3. I am very disappointed.

The material is very thin and lightweight, great for summer. It has a very good stretch. It can easily catch on things as you are walking by them. If it does catch you can put it back in shape again because of the good stretch.

Feels flimsy,very transparent. Feels like a net, but bought it to hide my arms. Will work for me anyway.

Love this shrug so soft to wear and very comfortable.I’m usually a large and the fit is fantastic a bit too lose but it looks amazing.

Very flimsy material that snags easily. I ordered two but I doubt that I will wear them.
