Wiring diagram for 2011 Tacoma Bed Lights
Like others, I bought this b/c of DIY videos for truck bed lighting with an LED strip. The switch I received had no wiring diagram and didn't match the colors of ChrisFix, but after studying the photos on Amazon and playing around, here's what I determined. (I put the notations from the Amazon photo in parentheses. This eventually made sense to me, but it doesn't have to. Just follow the colors.) hot/red from truck battery --- white (common) bed light (+) --- blue (normal open) and red (switch light +) bed light (-) --- black (switch light -) ground brown (normal closed) --- nothing ground to truck body (My led strip bed lights say you can switch the positive and negative, and either way works. Above is how I did it. I used 16 feet of "5630 Superbright Waterproof 300 LED Strip Light".) This corresponds to the "Program 1" in the Amazon photos. Where one wire connects to two, just solder/connect the three together. The result: switch is not depressed = no bed lights and switch is dark. Switch is depressed = bed lights are on and switch is lit up. Two weeks in, the switch is working great. Haven't tested any waterproofing. Good luck.

Neat switch, LED lumen'ing is...
...not overbearing. It can be wired in conjunction with power switching to light up, or otherwise as well. Solid switch, works perfectly, sturdy, solid spring/locking mechanism. All aspects, including decent gauge/type of wiring comes with it, fully worth the price, product is represented well... (Excellent) MblTchXprt

Looks good. Small.
Needs instructions! I added the diagram here. Keep in mind this switch is the size of a normal man's pinky. I should have gotten a 22mm for index finger size. It works well though and the light is cool looking.

Itโs lit
Fit perfectly in an existing hole in my f150. Easy access from behind the tail light made install cake. My only complaint is there was nothing to tell you what the wires were. I installed mine as follows: Black - Ground to chassis Red - to running lamp(I only want the led ring lit up if the running lights are on) Blue - black from bed light switch White - red from bed light switch Brown - nothing

So far so good.
Bought this switch to add bed lights to my truck. Saw ChrisFix video and bought the same parts he used. My halo switch is white. I wired it up so it glows when bed lights are off. Wiring is tricky but there is a good YouTube video that helped me figure it out plus there are instructions on the Amazon listing page. The wire colors are different on this switch than on the one in the videos but you should be able to figure it out. This switch seems to be of good quality.
