WATERFLY Packable Sling Backpack Lightweight Crossbody Bag Travel Daypack

This was perfect. I've tried many travel day packs. Just back from 2 week tour in Japan. I used this every day. Size is perfect for a rolled up light raincoat or fleece still with plenty of room in the main compartment if you have camera gear or lunch. Two water bottle pockets Front zippered pocket for sunscreen and other small daily items. The front strap pocket is great for phone and/or wallet. The rear flap closure covers the main compartment zippers so no worry about pickpocketing from behind. You can sit on a train with the pack being you, or you can easily pull the bag to the front. Two large inside pockets. Would be nice if one was zippered. They are still deep enough to store passport, keys and other valuables without worrying about them. I much prefer a sling to a back pack for comfort and ease of access. Big enough for use as a personal item on a flight. Or just throw it in your suitcase. Takes up very little room. Will be my go to bag for future travel.

If I could give this bag more than 5 stars I would. I took this on our trip to Washington DC, and it was perfect for everything! I said at least once a day how much love this bag. There is so many pockets for organization, and the big main pocket fit 2 water bottles and random sunscreen, ibrophen, ect. It was small enough to not be cumbersome oh and it made a perfect personal bag for the airplane. The front strap has a pocket that fit my phone perfectly for ease of retrieval. I love that you can also rotate the strap so you can switch which shoulder it's on. It's light weight and durable. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag for adventuring anywhere!

I bought this for going on outdoor excursions and I've overall been pleased with it! I've taken it a lot of places by now in a LOT of different weather conditions. It's small but not too small - it can hold my keys, phone, water bottle, snacks, and raincoat or field guide book with no problem, which is what I wanted it to do! My two small complaints are that while it is somewhat water resistant... it is NOT waterproof. I took it to Costa Rica, a very, very wet place, and anything paper inside this pack (like the paper cards in my wallet in the pack) did get damp. My phone also got waterlogged and gave up the ghost... but that's more on me for not buying a separate water-proof protective pouch for my phone specifically. Anyway, it keeps basic mist or humidity moisture off, but easily gets wet when it actually rains (not just in Costa Rica, it also gets damp fairly quickly in a normal, not heavy rain in the western US). My other thing is that the mesh water bottle pouch on the outside is a little small. It fits a plastic waterbottle perfect and works OK with my smaller insulated water bottle, but would never fit a bigger water bottle, maybe not even your standard hydroflask, without the water bottle tipping over and falling out every time you shift the bag. But other than that, I love this pack. It's super handy, comfortable, lightweight, packs up super small, can handle rough adventures (in dry climates), and fits what I need it to!

I'm rating this 5 out of 5 because it deserves it. I've owned this thing for years. I've taken it on trips to Mexico, Europe, on cruises, and at least 6 Disney trips (Orlando, Anaheim, Tokyo, and Paris). The only negative I have is that I wish I'd found it sooner! The zippers are durable. The bag dries quickly, but is pretty good at keeping water out, somehow! I'm a big guy. 6'2 and heavy. This bag does not look too small on me. It packs up into an incredibly small piece of kit that stashes away nicely in a rollaboard. I'm currently on a 7-nigh cruise writing this, traveling carry on and personal item only, and this bag was one of my non-negotiable travel items. If you are looking for a durable, dependable, lightweight, packable, bigger inside than it looks outside, and stylish sling bags, look no further. You found the right one.

A fab little bag that actually holds an amazing amount of stuff! The bag looks so small, but the inside of it and the pockets, are surprisingly deep. I love the extra pocket on the strap, too. And speaking of the strap, it's comfortable to wear. I hung a cute decoration on the front and can also hang my car keys on the front, too. The fit for my cell phone, if I put it in the very front lower pocket, is a tiny bit tight, but it does fit securely. A smaller-sized water bottle would fit in one of the side mesh pockets - or 2 smaller-sized water bottles, one in each side pocket. Anyway, like I said the bag is fab, and it's cute! I chose the dark grey, goes with everything and looks nice.

This is a nice bag, and well designed. I really wanted to like this bag, but there is one major drawback. The side pockets for water bottles are very small. A personal water bottle will not fit. But if you put a 16 oz or larger bottle in the bag, you really wouldn't have room for much else. So sadly, I returned this.

LOVE my bag... it is extremely convenient. Recently discovered the sliding clasp going over the main zipper is to hold my windbreaker when it gets too hot and the thing cannot fit inside my bag. Literally expands and straps the windbreaker down. Between vacations and day trips the thing packs into a tiny fabric pill and takes up virtually no space in the closet. Ready for the next trip! FWIW- I keep my passport inside a passport wallet. That goes in the Waterfly. And the Waterfly can go inside my backpack. Have to check the backpack? Instantly have the Waterfly and my valuables out and over my shoulder. Would buy again in an instant... probably should buy a spare in the even someone needs to borrow it.

This bag is great. I purchased it for my teen who was taking an 11 day vacation with the school to multiple European countries. It was comfortable and easy to wear, it held a water bottle, passport, first aid kit, wallet, emergency supplies . It kept everything organized and it was a great find. It is also very high quality.
