Very pretty and useful sling!
My son LOVES, LOVES, LOVES being in the ring sling. I'm chronically ill and have trouble holding him for long periods because my muscles get too tired, so when he is fussy I carry him around in a carrier or bounce him on the ball. We have a stretchy wrap, a structured carrier and this ring sling, and this one is his favourite. It's also amazingly pretty and I feel quite fetching wearing him in it.First sling I ordered had a fabric fault, but I sent it back and got a full refund and reordered, and the second one was perfect! Fantastic fabric otherwise, definitely worth the price, would heartily recommend.

Game changer!!
We absolutely live our Nalakai ring sling!I had a stretchy fabric sling with my first two children and hated the faff of putting it on.With the Nalakai sling I can put it on in less than 2 mins and my little one is fast asleep in no time. My back also aches less which is a bonus! The fabric feels strong yet has a softness to it and it comes with a lovely carry bag!No regrets here!

Exuberantly overpriced
I tried this out and ngl, when you have a newborn or even a couple-of-months-old, you have no time to learn how to use this. If you buy it, get it while or before you're pregnant and borrow a baby, because the learning curve is steep. I tried time and time again and my baby started hating it and crying while I tried. I was not upset while doing it, I was calm, but my baby was just not going to sit through practice. Finally, I decided to have one less thing to stress about and returned it to get a space heater instead--for the same price. I know fabric can be expensive but $70+ for fabric and rings is definitely overpriced. For that price you'd think they'd at least proofread their manual and hire an illustrator for their instructions, but nope. You have to go research their videos on YouTube, and end up having to look for unofficial guides as well. All while breastfeeding and lacking sleep. I'll take a clunky carrier with buckles over this one any day of the week.

Not worth the faff for me, less secure than i hoped.
I fealt like this is maybe not so good for newborns. Or at least for mine. When i got his feet out like it says he kind of slid through a couple times. Im a 6'5" man, so there isnt enough extra material to tuck around his head, which means this thing- at best - saves me one hand. Also it took me a while to feel comfortable with how tight i fealt like it needed to be to be safe. I love how simple, unbrakeable and washable it is. . . And it definately is made well. . .I just am not sure it lives up to the slick marketing photos. I will, for example, never ever use this for a walk outside when i have a clippy backpack carrier. I don't care how much more hip this looks its simply not as good for actually walking around.Another thing is that i bought this because i thought the simple design would make it less faffy, saving precious time. For me that has not been the case. Its simpler, true, but emanantly mess up-able. If a leg goes somewhere funny you may need to start all the way over, which kind of defeats the main appeal. The wife was right to be skeptical about my minimal leanings on this one. :) hope that helps someone else save some minutes.

Best fabric!
I have a lillebaby ring sling, lillebaby 6 in 1, Tula carrier, Kelty, ergo, and a water ring sling. I can tell you this is my favorite! It is light weight and easy to pack into any diaper bag. I LOVE the feel of it. It is hot here, and Washington people don’t have AC so this has been so nice compared to my other carriers. This is my first ring sling except the water mesh one, and this is making me want to buy all the ring slings they have! I want ALL the colors! I am so glad another mamma I follow on Instagram talked about these! I have three kids and need to be able to be hands free. This just works amazingly!
