I bought these jars for homeade massage oil with a coconut oil base. These jars are perfect. They are a good size at 1.5 ounces. The lids fit great and can be sealed. They don't leak which is very important because coconut oil becomes liquid at 75°. They are awesome to carry in your purse or pocket. I really like the hexagon shape. It makes them look special! I intend on purchasing more of these jars.

I have been happy with these. The lids seem to form positive seals. I accidentally dropped an empty one from 3 ft high onto a bamboo floor (not as hard as concrete or stone, but still a fairly hard surface) and it did not shatter. I haven't exposed these to extreme temperatures or temperature swings, but I have put these on ~250F hot plates (lid off so as not to allow the build up of internal air pressure upon heating) without issue. I've had them a year or two now I think and haven't broken any of them. None of mine were defective. The lids scratch fairly easily, so don't scrape at them with metal implements. Not a big deal to me.

I ordered these very unsure if they would work for jam, but I decided that if not for jam then I would use them for Lemon-Rosemary Sea Salt. I found an article through another review about "How to use one-piece lids." ([...]). I followed those instructions closely, and the lids worked perfectly. Boiling them first swells the sealant inside the lid. After removing from a hot water bath, and waiting about 20 minutes, the lids are tightly-sealed with no spring-back or popping sound, the same as what you're looking for with the two-piece, Ball lids.Another reviewer reported leakage, but my batch turned out perfectly.I will note, however, that the label on the box says, "Magnetic Spice Jars," which, to me, implies that they are for dry products and not for canning. However, I think jams are fine.

Perfect for relocating your spices/herbs from a junky cabinet to the fridge door or magnet board! It looks so cute when organized like a honeycomb! The size is PERFECT! Don't go any larger because it'll be too heavy to put on fridge & if you go any smaller then it won't be worth it because the amount it holds will be too little. Try using gorilla glue for the magnets as opposed to hot glue gun.. they'll stick much better in the long run. Also, the flatter the magnet, the better.. Used for spices and absolutely love them!!!

I purchased these to make magnetic spice jars. The jars themselves are very sturdy, sized well to accommodate a measuring spoon, and the lids threaded well. Attaching magnets took some trial and error. The lids have lost some paint from rubbing when hung, and some from scraping off subpar glue. Overall I'm very happy with the product. I really like the shape for my purposes. The "honeycomb" allows me to nest jars closely to each other for sturdiness and neatness.

I like the jars, they look neat on the shelf, and hold a good amount of spices. However exactly half of them came badly dinged on the lid. What's really odd, is that the shipper took the time to pad each jar lid, and they were packed well, so I suspect the damage occurred before final shipment to me. Maybe these are seconds or something.I pounded each dent out, and they look OK, but shame they were so badly bunged up. I'm not using them for canning, and they still seal fine for holding spices. I was able to get the sealing surface flat, but it took some work.

The jars are great, I liked the size but it doesn’t come with any labels! Other jars that I’ve ordered from Amazon come with labels. I was a bit disappointed with that
