I recommend finding a local place that roasts and bags fresh beans in front of you. These beams were so stale that they were tossed.

Not as expected
I have tried every setting on my Breville machine and there was no way I could get even a decent espresso. For the price I was expecting something else

What you need to know - good Northern Italian coffee - great when it's fresh...
You'll find Vescovi in Padova and around Venice, it's a nice full flavored Arabica, not just a jolt of caffeine in a cup but a well rounded experience. I prefer to grind it a little finer than most, tamp it tightly and extract it slowly to get the full crema. Recommended - though what I got was a bit older than I'd prefer, I won't gig Vescovi for that since it wasn't their fault...Update - ordered again late 2024 - fulfilled by amazon, seller procaffe - year and three quarters old. This appears to be a trend... so, okay 4 stars... Vescovi needs to look into this.
