I bought the very same design about 10 years ago and it served me well, until I lent it to a friend who managed to run over it, so I ordered this one to replace it.I've found this to work very well and repeatably for measuring net toe on a variety of vehicles... You just measure from the back of the tires and set it to zero there, then measure from the front of the tires to get your toe in 32nds of an inch.The only trick is that you want to make sure you have a consistent height and angle on both sides for both measurements. For low-profile cars, I'll set both ends on something like a block of wood (both being the same height). Then I'll also make sure to angle in so that the lever on both ends is resting across the fattest part of the tire, to ensure that I'm measuring the same thing on both sides. Obviously, you'll want your tire pressures to be set the same on both sides.Keep in mind that just like using toe plates, this only measures net toe, so you'll know if your tires are toed in or out, but it wont easily tell you if they are both pointed a little to the left or right. Not a big deal for the front tires, but in order to get the rears both pointed straight, you'll need to use the string or laser method.

I just got my toe Setter today very disappointed it is so flimsy. Go to Walmart and get the cheapest window curtain holder and you have this tool. Overpriced for what it is. Shipping is terrible. Box came damaged and Tool bent. I'll never buy from this company again. Buyer beware. They know you won't pay $20 to ship it back to them. One of their gimmicks on returns.

Great quick tool to set toe in or tow out. Much faster than a tape measure. We use it all the time

I used the tool once since I received it, it is very simple and easy to use, have been driving my car a couple days now and it tracks pretty good. I recommend it for the DIY guy at home.
