what is the least amount of skeins needed to make a 60 X 80 throw with the most conservative stitch and pattern?

I used 8 skeins for a throw using dbl crochet, with a J hook.

Hand knit? Has anyone tried it with this?

I have arm knitted with it. This yarn gets heavy really fast. Its nice and soft but I didn't find it to be the easiest to hand or arm knit with.

I’m trying to make a 4 x 6-ish blanket. Just like a finger knit chunky knit one. How many rolls would I need?

HI SHAYLYN, i have made multiple blankets one was 37 wide and 65 long and it took 660 yards because I used the 10 oz balls. So my guess for your blanket of 48 wide and 72 wide you could select 770 yards or 7 skeins or maybe for real comfort 8 skeins move you from the 37 to the 48 and from the 65 to the 72. Hope that helps. Take care. Maureen Education Resources. By the way my personal email is Maureen.OKeefe@ymail.com if you have any other questions of want to know about any 10 oz skeins that I have because I do have some and they are all in good new shape.

Could the 3 rolls make a throw blanket?

Not enough yarn to make a throw. I use 4 or more 10.5 balls and knit 5-6 10.5 To crochet a blanket
