Will this be more durable than the original wrinkled leather?

This seem more durable than the originals and feel very comfortable. The foam inside feels denser and springs back slower than that in the OEM.

Perfect Replacement

Fit perfectly, provodes same nosie cancellation as original and are comfortable. Have not peeled like my orginal ear pads. Good value

Perfect replacement

The original earpads on the Sennheiser headphones simply disintegrated. The surface coating slowly peeled off. Even the pads across the headband that goes over your head came off. These replacement earpads snapped right into place like the originals. They're as comfortable as the originals. They even do a pretty good job of cancelling ambient noise. They're not active noise cancellers but they're pretty good as passive noise cancellers. The material is different from the original equipment so I can only hope they don't suffer the same fate as the originals. I find I don't miss the pads over the top so I should be set now for a few years. I'll have to come back in a year or so to update this review with longevity information. I've only just gotten these so I can't comment on longevity.

Perfect fit -easy installation for RS175

I bought this to replace the original earcups on my M-I-L's headset that I bought for her about 2 years ago. She wears that headset every day and the earcups were looking rough. The cooling gel earcups look slightly thinner than the originals. I replaced the earcups without telling my MIL that I did anything. She had them on for several hours without noticing any difference- SHE DIDNT NOTICE SHE HAD FRESH EARCUPS when she put them on! So I guess they're at least as comfortable as the stock earcups. Hopefully she'll get at least a year out of these. The price is definitely right and absolutely worth it! I'd buy again.

Perfect!

The ear pads on my husband's Sennheiser headphones were disintegrating after 10 years of use. These replacement pads were a great price, easy to put on and they fit perfectly. The headphones are like brand new. Extremely happy with this purchase.

You can plan on your original Sennheiser pads falling apart. Thankfully this product prevents having to trash a great pair of headphone.
