It is washable and a wonderful accessory for the kitchen.It comes with four plates and a center rod which makes it easy to keep in kitchen.fits in 5 LT pressure cooker of broad mouth or in idli pots or steamers.At a time we can make 16 idli using this stand.A black colored plastic knob is provided at the top that acts both as a picker for stand and a lock for the plates.The plates can be easily taken out after removing the top black knob of the idli maker.Stainless steel is the material of this idli maker. We have two sizes Medium = 7 inches and Large = 8 inches of diameter.

Not upto the expectations
I made idli.Very small form.It should have been more deep.Not worth buying.
