SF Fly Fishing Line with Two Welded Loops Weight Forward Floating Fly Lines T...

Loaded this line on a reel for a custom 9' 3wt fly rod. Line is smoother than those I've used in the past. Casting is on par with lines I have used costing four to six times more. No issues with tangling or twisting. Loads and shoots with minimal effort, floats high on the water. Smooth transition through guides and tip. When fighting fish it took a couple times to get used to the feel of the line when retrieving them due to the 'slickness' of the line. this line does not load up with slime, moss and algae as quick as some of the other ones I've used. Overall very happy with this fly line for the quality, performance and price.

Good line. Especially for the price! Fished I’d hard all summer.

I think the line looks and cast pretty decent. First time using a fly rod so not much experience, but, the spool i got was tangled up the wazoo and the hoop that was supposed to go long the reel was under all the line and the leader hoop was on top so i dont think the quality check of the spool wrapping was the best but can't beat the price

So I’m a newbie to fly fishing and I purchased a fly fishing combo but had a hard time casting. I watched every video done everything exactly like I was supposed to for the most part could never get the standard line that was on the combo reel to extend out and lay flat. I tried this weight forwarded line and all I can say is I’m super happy. It casts straight rolls out and lands smoothly It’s definitely better line than what came with the combo. I believe it’s the weight forward thats helping. I still have a long way to go, but I’m super happy I can get this line out there almost 50 feet. Be careful polling line off this spool because it does come apart. You need to make sure it’s tight or else you’ll have a birds nest.

I have been using SF fly fishing products this spring. The fly line and leader in a 4 wt has been very efficient. Enough so that I purchased 5 wt line and leader for my 5 wt rod from SF. More than pleased.

If you’re new to fly fishing this is a great line that’s cheap and gets you on the water casting accurately and with ease. Extremely competitive pricing, high quality product and an overall pleased user experience gives this a 5 stars.

Have not used line yet but has the ‘dry’ characters of more expensive lines.

This stuff is awesome. I’m fairly new still, so I can’t compare it to anything but it’s much easier to cast than the line that was previously on my rod. I thought I needed new line for a while but wasn’t sure how much it would affect it. I definitely did because this seemed to make a world of difference. Can easily cast 80 feet in the back yard, excited to get on the river.

Cette ligne est irréprochable pour la pêche à la mouche. Ses points forts: absence totale de mémoire, glisse parfaite et poids de la ligne sur l'avant parfaitement étudié pour une action immédiate dès les premiers mètres de soie sortie. Vraiment le top. Je recommande. Je n'ai pas eu ces mêmes qualités sur des soies beaucoup plus chères de marques pourtant très réputées valant 3 à 4 fois plus cher.
