Kensington SoleSaver Adjustable Footrest (K56152US) Gray

I purchased the basic model of this footrest to keep at my desk at work. It is easy to use....just put the feet in at the angle you want to use. I personally like it on the highest angle. It is not as heavy duty as some are...but then it isn't as expensive as other models too. That being said....it still works great for a budget footrest. I find that it helps me have better posture at my desk. At only 5' 2" I like having my feet up to give better stability and better ergonomics for working and this fits the bill. Happy with this purchase!

This does exactly what I wanted--provides a comfortable foot rest while I work at my home computer. For the price, it's great. It's not strong enough to stand on, but you shouldn't be standing on it anyway, that's not what it's for. It is adjustable a few different ways and I found a comfortable position quickly.

Edited 1/10/2015: Found the missing rubber stoppers, I misplaced two of them! Changing my review to 3.5 stars. This is a pretty decent footrest with adequate support. The main defect with this footrest is that both of the adjustment slots are unsecured. By that I mean that if you attach the adjustment bar to the bottom slots, the adjustments don't lock in place. If you lift up your footrest to adjust it later, the bar will likely fall out. I don't find myself adjusting the footrest too much but it is a bit irritating knowing that the adjustments aren't secured. Given the price, this footrest is great value but if you want something more sturdy and with secured height adjustments, look elsewhere.

Serves its purpose and gives support for a persons feet but it is not a product I would recommend unless you plan on keeping the footrest in the same spot and never move it with your foot/feet. The height adjustment is cheaply made and does not include a locking mechanism. You have to use both hands to set the footrest in the place under your desk and if you try to scoot it a little with your foot it causes the height adjustment to dislodge. I am using it under a desk that has limited space so I never need to move the footrest and it works just fine but it you need something really sturdy and something you can move around some with your foot, pay the extra money and buy another product.

Sturdy. Would definitely recommend. It only has two positions, but that's totally fine. Just want to point out that the plastic piece that props the rest up to the next level is not attached - it comes off so you can make the adjustment. This is no bog deal and for the price and quality - I say who cares!! Occasionally, if I move the foot rest around under my desk the footrest falls off the lift bar. I just simply place it back on. It's all good. I bought a $50 foot rest recently that I had to return because it was so cheaply made. This one is a steal for the simple design, sturdy quality, and price.

This is not worth even the $20 I paid for it. I was just using this to elevate my legs while sitting at my desk at work. I was not standing on it, I wasn't putting much pressure on it at all. Within one month, the plastic on the bottom broke off and the footrest was lopsided. Another month, and the whole bottom piece connecting both stands cracked. So now instead of being elevated with the extenders show in the image, it's just the one foot piece which barely provides any elevation. Spend you money on a product that will last a year.

Update 7/07/2016 Upgrading to 2 stars. I contacted the manufacturer by phone. The hold time was minimal and the person on the other end was helpful. They asked for a product number and shipt out a replacement. I received it less than a week later. At least they honored the warranty with minimal fuss. Update-6/15/2016 After a month of daily use the feet started to fall off one-by-one. And then on week 6 the corner leg broke off completely. I contacted the seller and they would not authorize a return/exchange. Therefore, I'm downgrading this product to one star and I am not thrilled with the seller's lack of willingness to work with me either. Having this support for my feet helps reduce strain on my back, which is super important because I've had lots of back problems. I still need to get up and stretch each hour and such, but my butt time in the chair is a lot less of a strain. It's made out of plastic that has little feet that you have to pop on when you unbox it. It doesn't look or feel really well made, but it is holding up well and it serves its purpose. I can't clip any stars off. When I compared the price of this model to the high end ones it was a no brainier for me.

I really wish I'd purchased this item sooner! This footrest is perfect and has literally changed my daily work life. It is very easy to assemble (took a few seconds), durable and convenient. I work at my desk nearly every day, for hours a day, and this has increased my level of comfort and ability to power through long days, immensely! I appreciate the value, the on time delivery and positive impact this has had on my posture, my comfort and my productivity. Highly recommend this unit!

This product is excellent. I do not understand why some people are having issues with it. Yes, it is composed of a heavy duty plastic; however, its purpose is to elevate your feet to take the strain off of them while sitting at your computer/desk. They are not meant to be stood upon or to apply undo pressure. I am presently sitting at my desk with the Ergonomic Footrest under my feet. I have it on the lowest position and I am finding immediate relief. Being a person who does suffer from skeletal problems, I am finding this to be an excellent product. I also purchased one for my Hubby and he loves it as well. I am only 5'4" and he is 6' and we both find that the lowest setting works best for us. It was easy to assemble and I appreciate the scuff guards that came with this footrest. I will definitely be purchasing a few more of these. We found them to great at the kitchen table as well. For the price, you can't go wrong.
