Mighty Mule Single Button Gate Opener Remote (FM135) , Black

If this is your first rodeo, just buy these. You open the remote and set the pins the same as your old opener. No trouble whatsoever. I’ve bought a few of these to replace old ones and add more. Signal strength feels the same as factory. Would I recommend this to my family? Absolutely! My family has several of these floating around between us.

We try generic ones that don’t last. You get what you pay for these are very durable.

I had ordered a cheaper version at a 2for deal and they were advertised to work with the Mighty Mule, when opened up they were totally different inside, a wasted bargain. I read reviews for this one and a few were not happy but most were so I ordered one. As said in my title they did not have to reset to my own frequency they were coincidently were pre set for my opener. Yes I’m one of the happy ones. I would not buy look a-likes again, lucky learned that cheaply. This one works!

Easy to program with the gate opener. Strange thing, it would open my gate prior to programming, but not close it. Programmer it with the opener, and works fine.

So far so good! Case is stronger than expected!

Works better than three button

We bought a Mighty Mule gate opener years ago and it ended up sitting in the box, in the basement for a decade. I nagged enough that the husband finally got around to installing it this summer. By then, the included remote would not work, nor would the key chain one we bought at the same time. We bought and installed new batteries, but still they didn't work. So finally, I ordered three of these Mighty Mule transmitters, as well as a post-mounted keypad. By golly, we finally can get in and out of this place! Unfortunately, during the winter when the temperatures got very cold, the opener would not function. After several calls to Mighty Mule about the problem (and having to pull the cotter pin and keep the gate open for weeks), the husband was given advice to hook up a second battery to the opener, that the cold temps were draining the opener's battery (even though we had bought a new one). Apparently, the cold was too much for it and it needed a second one to give it enough power to activate the gate opener. One day we put a heating pad on the battery to get things to work, and they did. Now, I'm not happy about that---why should you have to hook up an opener to two batteries? But, that's not this transmitter's fault. So yes, the remote transmitter is fine, but the idea that one needs to hook up the actual opener to two batteries during cold weather seems a little extreme. It's not like we live in Alaska---we're in Missouri.

Worked as desired straight out of the delivery satchel. I pressed the button while the remote was still in it's vac formed package and the gate opened. Seriously, Mighty Mule should include a second remote as standard.

Works as advertised. Nice and small, fits in your pocket or key chain.

We have a large family, so I bought 5 of these so that all of our vehicles have easy access to the farm. They come ready to use, battery, visor clip, and all, and are preset to the original gate code, so they work immediately when setting up your gates. Once you customize your gate code, you have to change each gate opener to the new code, but it's an easy change.

Easy to program and works a treat. Delivery time not too bad based on current state!
