I love this stuff for so many reasons. The idea of the company and their products is awesome and the results really speak for themselves. Can be used in so many ways, though my favorite is to use when planting patches of new grass from old dog pee burns. Scrape it up, throw some seed down and cover with Pitt Moss and within days the grass is visibly growing. My guess is because of how well it holds moisture. Highly recommend.

This is a great medium to grow a variety of plants and it contains no peat! So thankful this company exists because peat-free soil is hard to find and I wanted to do what I can to stop the distraction of the fragile peat ecosystems.

Though I was skeptical, the PittMoss has turned out to be a great potting mix! Retains water but is not soggy. My plants are very happy and I feel good about using an environmentally friendly product.

Like the texture and water retention for seed starting.

I needed to move some of my balcony plants to larger containers and this is perfect.

Upon opening the bag a swarm of gnats flew out. The next day discovered larvae in my Jiffy pots. Been treating and scooping out since my seeds have started to germinate. Picture shows only a couple.

Works great! Eco friendly! And retains moisture well!
