Love these! So much better than straps. They allow you to lift heavier weight that you may normally have trouble with due to grip strength. One of the reasons I got these was because I felt like my forearms were bulking up too much due to constantly gripping heavier weights. It was suggested to me by a trainer that I get these, which have allowed me to continue lifting the heavier weights, but not worry about painful grip and building up my forearms.

I picked these up specifically for shoulder 'hanging' therapy. Very happy with this model. Well constructed and comfortable. These immediately made an impact to my ability to increase my time 'hang time'

I have only used them once but I felt very secure while using them and they worked as expected. I purchased these because of a wrist injury that limited my ability to lift. While using these I had no pain and I was very pleased with the purchase.

These are durable, work great for protecting hands/grip and make it easier to lift heavy weights. I rated these four stars because the strap is made a bit too large for my small wrists.

These weightlifting hooks help me push past the limits of my grip strength, allowing me to focus on the weight without worrying about my hands giving out. Compared to lifting straps, these hooks are way easier to use. Instead of taking time to wrap the straps, you just hook them on and go. They feel durable enough to last several years, maybe even through your entire lifting career. The Velcro straps are sturdy and secure. The one downside is that you can’t quickly release the weight by opening your hands like you would with straps. To detach the weight, you have to move the hook in the opposite direction of the bar, so don’t use these for pull-ups. You can actually get stuck mid-air if you’re not careful. They even offer a bit more hand protection than lifting straps. These hooks are a solid investment.

I would agree with another reviewer of these weightlifting hooks that gave this product 3 stars. I experienced exactly the same problem as this gentleman. I could not grab anything to feel securely enough to perform any movement whether it was lat pulldown or pullups on the bar. Due to geometry of the hook, it feels like it can slip from whatever you are holding to. Also, the metal part of the hook would press into my palm, and if you use let’s say something well over 100lbs in one hand, it is not very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, these hooks are not for me, but your mileage might vary. I would give 5 starts for materials and build quality because it looks pretty good, and appears that it might hold up for a few months, maybe years possibly, but I have to give 3 starts for the practicality of these hooks, since I can’t use them.

Strong and holds weight

腰痛持ちで腰を伸ばすため鉄棒などにぶら下がる時握力が持続せずすぐ落下していたが、この商品を使用してぶら下がるとそこまで握力がいらず楽にぶらさがれるようになり、しっかりかつじっくり腰が伸ばせるようになった。 なんか情けないレビューになってしまったけど、腰痛持ちの人で楽に腰を伸ばしたい人にはおすすめです。
