One unique affordable little tool. I have a lot of tools and lots of 1/4" ratchets & attachments. This 1/4" Mini Flex Head Ratchet is a fine addition to any tool box. I owned this ratchet set about 10 minutes and it paid for itself and gave me back change! I was going to have to remove electrical connections, hoses and cabin air intake cowling to get to the back of my favorite roadsters motor. Thats a couple hours by itself to properly disassemble/reassemble all those components for changing an oddly placed fuel rail pressure regulator. No problem, the head of the ratchet has a great push & lock button that locks on so well, I didn't even lose the fastners, much less have a socket popping off. This little ratchet fits in the palm of your hand and bends at the neck 180 degrees. 90 degrees up & 90 degrees down. The 72 tooth ratchet is smooth and seems to have good muscle for a ratchet of its size. It came with a 1/4" hex to 1/4" socket adapter for possibly a drill chuck or bit driver ratchet or the ever popular hand driver. It also comes with 11 universal spline sockets running from 4 to12mm, but it gets even better. The set comes in a really nicely made 4 3/4" X 3 1/4" aluminum box with a latch and a viewing window on top. Theres more, I was very impressed that the box was lined with armorflex rubber, not foam rubber or the ever growing blow molded insert. If you know what armorflex is, then all you need to know is the sockets fit snuggly in there perspective sized slot. The rachet & the adapter lay next to each other and though not as deeply countersunk into the armorflex, they stay put! I have to admit that I had never heard of Sunex tools, but have had similar styled name brand ratchets at several times the cost of this whole set. They seem to go missing if you turn your back, everyone wants to use it. I think this one is of just as good of quality and plan to order another for a friend, otherwise he'll be continually borrowing mine. This will make any gearhead a great gift and you might be able to keep your eyes on your own. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough. I posted some pictures just to confirm or deny any guestions any one may have regarding fit & function. Its a straight forward tool that I look forward to using for all kinds of attachments and jobs. Trust me, you'll.thank me later.

Extremely durable and convenient micro ratchet & bit set! Use them daily, both at home and on the job, with no little to no issue to speak of. Nice durable carrying case makes them easy to store inside a toolbox drawer or in a flip-top toolbox. Came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine, after lending me his set, and immediately went and ordered one during our next break at work! Overall a perfect set, going on 3 years of daily/multiple times a week use, both on the job (industrial maintenance) as well as using in my garage at home. One of MANY Sunex Tools I keep in my arsenal, and another one that's miles above the other brands for their Versatility, Functionality, Overall Strength, and Durability. A++ Product!

I was really excited about this tool. I had a very similar one but that one needed an adapter to go from the socket to the bits, which I lost, hence needing to buy a new one. This one is designed so you don’t need an adapter, which is nice. Quality seems great. Can’t comment on durability since I just received it. But I had to knock it down a star due to the delivery experience. My excitement in opening the package was ruined because I obviously received a used product. There were dirty fingerprints all over the handle, the clear plastic window was smudged with dirt, and the box packaging was worn out. Product is still great but I would’ve appreciated a new product or at least clean it up and make it look new.

The reason I made this purchase was that it was a fairly complete set of sockets and bits. I like the dual head ratchet that you can use either sockets or bits on. When I go to work on a project I do not always know what bits or sockets I am going to need. One concern I had was that the flex head might be to floppy, but the flex head ratchet has enough friction to stay in the position you set it at,. The best feature of the product is the compact packaging. There is no wasted space. The case is composed of aluminum and plastic. I read one review that mentioned the clear plastic lid was broken when they received it. The case is strong but not unbreakable. A lot of tools are package in blow molded cases which generally take up twice as much space as needed. On this case there is no wasted space! The spline sockets are listed as being both metric and SAE. I am not a fan of spline sockets as you are more likely to round the corners on the nut/bolt you are removing. I do not think rounding smaller nuts/bolts that you would use a 1/4 inch ratchet is going to be a problem. There are two improvements that could be made to make this product even better. One, the black on black labeling is difficult to read. Other Sunex products have white labels on a black back ground. The second improvement I would like to see is to replace a couple of the duplicate bits with square drive bits (which I am have done). This product is made in Taiwan.

Good for imt work

The good....It's a Sunex! As a retired diesel technician of 32 years, I've used Sunex sockets almost exclusively. They aren't made in the US, but you'd think they were if you used them for any decent length of time. I've NEVER had a Sunex socket crack or break on me. This mini set is worth the money, it has those nifty no slip sockets, and the bits are solid as well. I work on my own cars now because modern cars are over engineered piles of crap. My Sunex tools will be used by my son in law and my grandsons, they are that well made. Trust me when I say, if you don't need the big guns, this set will serve you well.

No exaggeration, I will NEVER use another screwdriver again. This thing is legit top notch. You have everything you need to build stuff in this one kit. All the attachments are there that one could need. I loved this item so much that I had bought three of them to provide to my family members so they could see how amazingly easy and convenient this whole setup was. I can’t speak for someone who is a tool junky and has tons of advanced tools but for someone who has no tools, this thing legit has it all. If I need to put something together, I just pull my kit out and everything is there. Not to mention it’s so much easier to tighten things this way.

It’s a fairly small set but it’s high quality and has everything you need . I’m a maintenance electrician who is often doing mechanical jobs as well . Great set to have in your tool bag and doesn’t take much space . I uses it regularly! Initially thought it was a little pricey but after owning it for a bit , definitely think it’s a great value for the money!
